I have used the one row buttonhole in a cowl. I liked using it. I would pick the blue colorway for the hat.

Trying to finish 3 wips! I would choose the blue yarn. The area you are filming looks very nice.

Definitely plan to use the one row buttonhole on my next sweater. Just finishing up the test knit White Wolf Cowlette for Snooptigger Crafts. The blue colorway would work best for me. I tend toward cool colors,

Hello from Florida! I'm actually already working on a Christmas present for my daughter -- the Prairie Ghost Cowl by Em Lyn Knits. I think I'd like the blue yarn better than yellow.

Thanks for hshowing this neat, easy buttonhole. I've tried the Tulip buttonhole by Eunny Jang without success. It never seems to look as neat as hers and there is a LOT of back and forth it seems to me.

I can hear you okay but r here are no distractions or noises except when the air conditioner comes on, the fan is blowing my under cabinet dry from the leak in my kitchen sink but other than , and you do have one of those thin reedy voices. Not one of the bad ones there which is why I'm still here LOL . It's a nice one - not screechy or like fingernails on a chalkboard. Oftentimes, when women (some men too) are trying to speak louder, they speak in a higher tone instead, lessening the volume but when people begin to lose their hearing when they get older, they lose those High tones first, so the above problem lessens the effectiveness of effort, so if you could try to put a little Alto base to it, it would be helpful. I'm an Alto, and I was often confused with my son over the phone when he was younger and I would be called sir. I can sing the higher male parts in a choir... oftentimes the director would say "OK, you men, oh and K, over here, sing this part blah blah. I catch myself doing it too sometimes. And if I'm speaking loudly and a person cannot hear me well, I have to expel more air across my vocal cords and try to deepen my voice a little, myself. I just remember what our Drama teacher always said "Use your diaphragm!'' - to which are smart alec class started saying, "...as soon as I go to the clinic!" As loudly as we possibly could of course using our diaphragms as a whole. All puns intended, I assure you. Lol! Anyway, In the really olden days, the siging with the men bit (they needed me, weren't many guys to sing this particular part, and I could go deeper and way loud - operatic and falsetto, even - so it wasss the part of the Castrato, but, now, these days, it is called Contralto and most definitely a female part, unless you're in one of those countries where they still do that to young men, and Alto is a little bit higher than that, but not quite Tenor, by way of explanation with just a little bit of actual factual & historical oomph added in for fun. To sum up the sound is pretty good, if there are no distractions on our end, or if we have earphones and possibly a place in our volume system that allows for that unsafe Red Zone that we're not supposed to listen to and we get a warning for. Or if you can deepen your voice and project from your diaphragm a little more air across those vocal cords! Or afford equipment that could do the whole job for yarn, I guess.
