Mystery Science Theater 3000’s Bill Corbett stops by the mansion to join us in pummeling the life out of conservative entrepreneur and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza's stupid and bizarre documentary "Hillary's America."
It was an honor to do a show with Bill and he is now our FailDad.

Dinesh is out there looking like someone made a wax likeness of Rowan Atkinson after being spun around a bunch with a blindfold on.

I know I shouldn't have expected anything less from Dinesh D'Souza, but I was shocked at how callous he was about describing Obama Sr.'s life experiences. It's bad enough that he's going to bat for Britain and their atrocities even though he's from India, but the way he dismissively talks about Obama Sr's "anti-colonial ambitions" is so gallingly ignorant and wrongheaded. Dinesh phrases it like Obama Sr. was somehow wrong for being angry at the British empire... while neglecting to mention that he had a very good reason for feeling that way. I wonder if Dinesh knows that Obama Sr.'s dad, Hussein Onyango Obama, was nearly tortured to death by British security forces in the lead-up to the Mau Mau Uprising, an exceptionally brutal rebellion against the colonial government. Just as they'd done during the Anglo-Boer War fifty years prior, the British forcibly interred tens of thousands of (mostly Kikuyu) civilians in concentration camps on the false suspicion they'd taken the Mau Mau oath. There was widespread use of torture to extract confessions and thousands of Kenyans were hanged on dubious charges (a well-known academic work about the Mau Mau Uprising is even called "Histories of the Hanged"). HSO was one such unfortunate sod who was beaten within an inch of his life, which is especially disturbing given that he was an old man when this happened. This ordeal left him horribly scarred both physically and mentally, so much so that his family was shocked at how emaciated, withered, and banged-up he looked when he was released (he also wasn't able to walk without assistance from then on because the British torturers had fucked up his legs). It was an especially bitter pill for the Obama family to swallow because HSO had served with distinction in the King's African Rifles during WW1 and had been perfectly loyal to the government his entire life. The British army and the loyalist "Home Guard" paramilitary are rightfully remembered as violent thugs in Kenya because they put a lot of families through shit like this. Also, the part about the "two iron legs" is apparently a reference to the fact that Obama Sr. got into a bad car accident where he lost both of his legs, so... fuck him because he was physically disabled? Dinesh mentions it like Obama Sr. having badly injured himself makes him a less credible person, so I can only assume that's what he was getting at.

I think this one's been upped to the channel already, but it's good to see again just the same. MST3K fanboy that I am, was one of the first episodes I listened to! Really hooked me

Dudes, Saul Alinsky is my Noam Chomsky style REAL MAN. In the 1950's you know, in Waco, Texas? We did not acknowledge that black people lived. They were only allowed to shop one day a week.
