A year ago today I experienced the toughest heartbreak of my entire life. This song consoled me and reminded me to FEEL my emotions. It’s OK to cry, it’s OK to scream, it’s all part of the process. I remember screaming these lyrics in my car and thinking “I DO deserve to smile” and “I will learn to love again.” It didn’t feel real at the time, but I chose to believe it! I chose to believe that I would be OK and now I come back, a year later, and I’m filled with emotion. I DID learn to love again and I met the guy of my dreams. I look back and think of the all pain that my ex inflicted on me and how much everything he did to hurt me, on all those COUNTLESS weeks I spent feeling like the sky was falling, and I’m astonished that I made it through but thankful that I learned my value. My new relationship is stronger than any I ever had, I learned SO much during my hard time and the healing process DID hurt. So if anyone sees this, take it from me, FEEL your feelings, experience them but KNOW you’ll be ok. Value yourself, love yourself and prepare to go through the healing process. A year later, I’m the happiest I’ve been with a man who truly loves me. I wish I could tell myself these words a year ago. After 20 years married and 23 years of knowing each other with 3 kids. I got blindsided with a divorce. I’m still hurting a year later but this song has gave me hope that there is live after divorce. Even when my adopted mom passed, nothing has compared to what I have felt in this divorce. All I can say to anyone reading this don’t give up. My boyfriend tried to commit suicide when i tried to breakup with him. He was newly diagnosed with bipolar disorder. On top of aniexty and depression. I tried to handle the relationship for 9 months, but was more of the caretaker. Hes from the hillbillies of the midwest. Disowned by family. But here in Massachusetts. He’s admitted the psychiatrist says hes been on all the wrong medications. He never received the care he desperately deserved all these years. They are going to finally help him. Get what he really needs. I still care mounds about him but i can’t continue a romantic relationship. It’s too hard. I hope he’ll understand after all this. If you or anyone suffering from mental, it’s real. It affects people and sometimes the doctors don’t get it right the first time.

I was in love with my partner of 20yrs. Things started to change after 10yrs and we tried back and forth trying to get what we had until I realized that I couldn’t make it work alone and I’ve become co-depended. Until I reached the point where we were really just friends. He died in front of me in a hospital twice because of a condition. I prayed for God to take him after the 2nd. I had to give the okay to disconnect him from life support, he was brain dead. That was the most horrible thing for me, its been 10yrs this coming Thanksgiving. I was lost with myself the first 4yrs after he died. The only thing that I haven’t been able to move from is the last 12hrs with him in the hospital. Horrible memories never go away. It’s not as hard as it was to move on. I found love again with someone who knew us both. A knight in shining armor.

But after being married for eleven years days , he left when I was at work without a reason, I almost died literally, am still healing can’t find him.
