Very true man I believe when you build them proper they can take just about anything💪. On the XRT It might’ve survived, but ya would be doing a full rebuild before the next session😂.

I have steered clear from this rabbit hole for financial reasons.. (My F82 M4 has been an astronomical expense!)_ _Back in the early 2000's I built up and bashed multiple HPI Nitro Savages.. Even did house jumps!_ _After 2009 I called it all quits, my career ended when I was injured in a motorcycle accident flying 30 feet over a guardrail on my ZX1400!_ _(I am very lucky to be alive, mostly fully recovered, and not paralyzed! Just mentioning all of this to give you some context for all my recent questions!)_ _Your RC experience speaks volumes, and I am finally ready to once again throw down big money on an RC that I can SEND!_ _Once you really start putting the power to these things, who's drivetrain _*_diffs and gearing_*_ holds up the best.. (8S up-to 12S)_ _I feel like there isnt a single brand/part in this universe that can be 100% all the time.. EVERYONE has its weakness!_ _but.. Who does it better.. @@SOMNIOHM hell yeah dude you’re more than welcome. I would say Arrma gears and drive train hold up the best but there’s companies out there like Vitavon that makes upgraded gearing for Traxxas and Arrma. But fully built i would take an Arrma any day for big air, but Traxxas seems like they can do it for less money but when you break you break a lot if that makes any kind of sense with an Arrma you break something and its usually one or two parts. when you break one or two parts on a Traxxas and you start tearing into it. It’s a problem after another problem and another problem. It just never stops until you do a full rebuild if you’re going to bash like I do that new K6 EXB RTR is the fucking bomb I’m still bashing mine almost stock ran again yesterday I’m up to six packs I believe through the truck and still have yet to had any damages. Thanks man she’s definitely a brute very impressed with his truck. It took a lot to get it there but it’s well worth it to be able to finish the session with a broken arm and not stopping the run. That’s the first real damages since I went on 12 S pretty insane.

Thank you Dennis I just wish I could get this truck tuned right where it’s a little bit easier to drive. It’s kind of a pain in the butt the way it is but it works. I know the truck is super tough. It’s been taking some hard hits the last month M2C tough baby.

Yeah Rich, this truck is absolutely amazing after a solid month of bashing this truck every week it finally gave me a broke arm which I’ll take that any day. The Temps are awesome on 12s and I have all the power I need the temps all stayed perfect even after that crazy donut at the end very workable. I can’t say enough about this truck with all the M2C upgrades keeping her together. She is a heavy girl, but most definitely takes it all. @AldoLoyal definitely should give it a shot. I need to make myself a long wheelie bar. It wants to wheelie like crazy around 70. I trimmed the front wheel wells off the body, and it stopped parachuting so badly. Sounds like a jet when it flies by

Thanks man yes, I always run thicker silicone in the front. There’s a couple reasons one I want the front pulling harder to keep the truck straight and one of the main reasons is to keep the front from diffing out and blowing tires because the fronts off the ground a lot more than the rear.

Awesome bro thank you so much. I’m glad you’re getting something out of the videos. Super cool I’m 6 foot tall and the jumps are a good 2 to 4 feet taller than me so I’m guessing by around 10 feet tall and 8 to 10 feet wide the one I stand on might be 15FT wide, my bucket on my tractor is 5ft wide and I try to put two piles of dirt side-by-side with the tractor so that’s where I’m getting the measurements from and I go as high as I possibly can go with my tractor. I climb halfway up on the jumps and then dump my dirt. they are a little beet down at the moment, but I think at one point I’ve had them close to 15 foot tall but honestly they don’t need to be that big a good 5 to 6ft jump about 6 to 8 feet wide would be perfect. A lot of these guys hitting ramps are having run ups on asphalt so it’s a lot easier to keep the car straight but on grass and dirt. It’s very hard to keep the car straight up to the jump so that’s why it’s nice to make it a little wider, so you don’t miss but hell i still miss them all the time. I was running 12s and my gearing was a 39 Spur and a 34 pinion

I have a good lady that polishes them frequently😂😂 I don’t know how much power it’s putting out bro I don’t get into all the specs like that. Definitely a lot super bad ass.

I haven’t figured out the delay yet. I think I might be tuning it the wrong direction, so I’m gonna try to go backwards from normal and see if that helps instead of turning it down I’m gonna crank it way the hell up and see what happens on the throttle delay I’m kind of thinking that might be a percentage. If I figure it out I’ll definitely let everybody now.

A cap pack seems to help some but I had to gear it 16p 30s to get somewhat of a smooth throttle response but it was kinda slow, so IDK 🤷🏽‍♂️

I swear I haven't noticed this on my max 5 g2 12s dbxl. I left the ESC settings stock except for bec voltage. I'm also not running it sensored though as I'm using a tp 5870 750kv in that rig. I just bought another max 5 g2 for the kraton and I'm going to pair that with a tp 5860 800kv. I'm hoping I don't see it on that either. Have you guys tried unplugging the sensor?

Thanks so much man it’s not as smooth not being censored I was just having issues with the plug coming undone, and I just haven’t had good luck in the past with censored set ups on a basher like this I tried it and didn’t like it and then when the plugs started coming undone all the time, I just said hell with it, and just kept it unplugged.

@@AldoLoyal that sucks bro, I went out this morning and popped a front drive shaft out the cup and had no tools to fix it but its all good now and I've got a new little 1/10 basher that I'm goin to give to my 12yr old son if he wants it but I'm just goin over it giving it the big Al treatment as I got it given to me off a friend lol

Definitely start low on the gearing and work your way up because you don’t need to Max it out on gearing with that much power. CVD‘s are probably going to be a must especially the Center ones you might not need them but if you’re sending the truck I would recommend aluminum bulkheads. They’re a little pricey for these big trucks, but well worth the money, you could probably get away with just doing the rear to start but honestly I wouldn’t even start changing anything until you started breaking stuff just upgrade as needed. I’ve been doing this for a while so I know what’s needed and I just start with that if you’re gonna be running it wide-open all the time, I would recommend aluminum hubs as well at least on the front the back are fine stock composite

Thanks man I’m running this K8 on 12 S and I get about 15 minutes of runtime which is pretty good. This truck on 8S I couldn’t even compare it to the 6s cars. It just wasn’t there for me not enough speed but now on 12 S she’s ballistic she acts just like a 1/8 scale 6S car But bigger

The main reason is I couldn’t keep it plugged in, but I’ve also had nothing but bad luck with censored systems on the big RC’s there was nothing wrong with it when it was plugged in. it’s just on those hard landings. It would come unplugged and would just flop around in there, so I just disconnected it and tied it back. Thanks for your time man happy bashing.🚀💪🤘😎👊

It depends on what Lipos I have in there anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes tops.

Yes I did. It’s in one of these videos how we did it M2C made a bell crank that fits with the new G2 motors it’s usually at the end of my videos when I go over the car. And explain all the upgrades.

Thanks man much appreciated on 10/12s I run QS8 and on 8s or less I run ic5 and ec5 i used to run the QS8 on a lot of my other cars 6S/8S but it’s a heavy plug to have to fasten down so I only use them now when necessary

Stock I haven’t had a problem with them yet. I was going to go Vitavon if I did, but they’ve been holding up well. I’ve been running this truck since the end of summer with no issues.
