When it comes to the big 3 German luxury flagship sedans, its about personal taste and preference for performance and design language. To say any of them are incredible constructs of engineering is an understatement.

I think it’s like this. Mercedes is more comfortable and better looking from the inside, but BMW is way better looking from the outside and way faster.
Got to ride in one! It was awesome back there but i really question their GUI and usage. It didn't feel nearly as streamlined as the car. Felt like I was using an old HTPC. I was very sad because of this fact 😂 even though I'm not in a market for one haha
I've been in both, Merc S Class is an excellent car but the 7 Series wins. The Rolls Royce's underpinnings have been used in constructing the 7 Series, it's current segment quality is unmatched. Also: BMW has a full sized television in the back seat, closes it's own door after you step on the brake and doesn't suffer from excessive body roll while still being plush. I'm a big Mercedes fan but gotta give this one to BMW. However: The Mercedes will win with its new E Class against the 5 Series, it's brilliant and Mercedes deserves a medal for that range.
the only thing i’ll give you is the door closing. everything else is a stupid gimmick. the rolls royce underpinnings don’t mean shit they just threw a bunch of unnecessary crystals everywhere. also the tv feature is useless as it takes so much time end effort to actually use and get started, not to mention the hassle in the car it creates. the s class screens are much better. also s class ambient lighting, self drive, seats and interior comfort, and suspension are all better, not to mention a better engine and more classic and better looking exterior design as well. 7 series is a great car but nowhere near the s class.
I hate all digital displays. Its so distracting and dangerous while driving. It should be knobs and dials that you can feel your way around without having to take your eyes off the road
7 series made a massive flip and honestly Mercedes interiors not so luxury anymore with all that creaky plastic hopefully they turn it back around but this year bmw on top
One of my business Mentors has both 2023 models... He's been an avid Merc fan since 90s but he's said since the latest 7 Series, he's never buying a Merc sedan again.... I'd be remiss to not intimate, he rarely ever drives he has a chauffeur... Perhaps if he drove regularly he might have a different opinion... But I agree, BMW are not afraid to be innovative and push boundaries, they're always improving their cars

@@kanye203 Right? We have a 2018 Chevy equinox that has never let us down and we recently got a 2024 GLE 350. Both cars have been great to us and will continue to be so.

@@demonyny5055 yeah I had a 750i. Sensor went out on suspension and they're known for that anyways. That's why you get Asian brands like Lexus, Acura, Infinity
I agree,all these lights in the car and touchscreens. The joystick info controller was the best thing in a Mercedes and it was safe.The Germans are starting to follow the idiots.

Where's your 30 inch 8k display? Can you wind your volume controlls without touching your screen? Does it have programmed sounds when you hit the gas? Crystalline structure/EV compatible... Have you tried pushing every plastic on that Mercedes dashboard. Weird sounds Ambient lighting (old school) Same issue with Apple. They keep making same shit every single time and throwing people's imaginations in the garage, while androids bring the future to us.
