You have to remember he did not go for voice lesson like other singers and still can pull it together and can even go head to head to other professional singers.

Worlds greatest impressionist. He is able to duplicate any sound. He speaks and sings in multiple languages. Is able to imitate any singer male or female. Does this without ever having any formal education or training. When he is interviewed and asked how is he able to do this so easily with such grace. His reply was simple “no one told me I couldn’t”

You are right. Marcelito Pomoy mixes his performance with some funny gestures to lighten his act. A funny guy in real life, but humble and with a good heart.
Can you imagine, he was so poor before and with his magnificent voice he was able to find parents that had abandoned him. He helped them financially and lots of other poor people in the Philippines.
It looks like he stop singing that part but he still sing that..look closely,he just transfer the microphone then lower his hand that is why it looks like he stop singing but still the singing part continues..😉

I think what happened here is there are two camera views. You can notice a out of synch audio on the wide angle top view camera. Its 100% live all the way through.
I understand ur doubt bcoz of audio/ video technical. I think that video is not the original 1. Maybe it's just screen record that sometimes d audio either ahead or behind. Believe me marcelito doesn't need lipsync coz he can sing perfectly even doing something else. Try 'I believe in you' 2020 version
The video you are reacting to probably have some audio problems. Filipino artists/singers don't lipsync because it will be embarrasing if the audio suddenly stops and one is caught lipsync-ing.

That could be a technical problem, he is performing in front of an audience, all he’s doing an impromptu singing, whatever the promoter( Joel) , pianist tell him to sing.
The video was edited and the transition of the 2 clips did not match the audio. If you play it back again it wasn't synced properly. He said "oh wow". A second delay not synced.
