The camp out is coming, and I need a new tent. so I decide to save some money and get the Lone Rider tent, but pay 1/4 of the price. It's the same tent, but packed in a different facility. here's the link amzn.to/47qajVg

I just got one, I have a Reactive outdoor 5 second tent but miss the room and standup dressing. I tried to put it up myself and Boy Howdy!!!! Was a challenge to figure it out. Because the instructions were very vague just like you said, and it said nothing about attaching the inner tent, I looked up a video and found yours, so thank you very much. That was really helpful.

Follow up…..I got to use it on a Canadian trip two weeks ago. It wasn’t too bad to set up with help. It had plenty of room! It also rained a lot for an entire day and night. No leaks. The extra room was nice to have as we could have our chairs and a small table to watch RU-vid videos and snacks.

@alischiagreene8646 it's been great to have when I'm staying on site for a few days, but for traveling fast and just staying to rest and then leaving first thing, a smaller tent is more practical.

@alischiagreene8646 Месяц назад
@@RainyRider1970 I agree to that. I’ve got a few extended camp outs comming up and the larger size will be nice. But if I’m moving on each day, then a smaller tent for sure.

@RainyRider1970 Месяц назад
I've taken it on a lot of trips now.. It's a must for camping when you bring a lot of gear, and are going to be in one spot a few days being self sufficient. I use the garage areas to set up storage and a sitting area. When it rains, it will fi 4 people in chairs comfortably , or store all your gear from 2 bikes. For solo camping, it's a bit much, but for crowd camping, it's a must

@RainyRider1970
@RainyRider1970 Год назад
I put it up in Tampa last weekend. It was 85 in the day and 50 in the morning. It was pretty chilly, but the double liner kept the wind off, and rolling up the panels on the outer shell kept the heat in the day down. It takes some experimenting with the floor straps to get the tension right for the zippers, I recommend keeping the floor straps just loose enough to keep the door panels tight, but tight enough to keep the zipper easy to move
@pmdesign3

100% not the same tent... The wolf is pretty good knock off, but there are some big differences in the two. The main three ive noticed, the interior clips in the lone rider are color coded so you dont fuss with which end is which, the poles only slide in from one side on the lone rider, the side walls come up higher. ?? Are those differences worth the 3x cost? Not sure yet, it will be interesting to see how long the knock off will last, how watertight it is etc

Seems to be a “Knock off” of the Lone Rider design. But made much cheaper in quality at 1/3 the cost.
@RainyRider1970
@RainyRider1970 Год назад
Actually, it's exactly the same, made in the same factory, with a different label. Much like Krator and Burly. It all comes out of the same factory, but with different advertising
@illiyakuryakin3092
@illiyakuryakin3092 Год назад
@@RainyRider1970 Your sure it is “Exactly the same”? For one, I did not see any screen on the small rear door like the Lone Rider tent has. Also the flooring for the sleeping area does not appear to come up as high on the four sides, and the three poles (As is my understanding) on the Lone Rider slip into a pocket on one side when assembling. It looked like your wife was having to slip her end of the poles into a grommet strap. I have the Lone Rider at home but I have not unpacked and used it yet.
@RainyRider1970

@@illiyakuryakin3092 well... once you unpack it, then come back and tell me about it
@MrPhipsi74
@MrPhipsi74 Год назад
@@RainyRider1970 It's not exactly the same. The Lone Rider has single ended pockets for the poles, so it's much easier to set up with one person. Also, the Lone Rider has double doors, so you have both a netting door and a solid fabric door. Unsure if those features are worth the money, but they aren't exactly the same. I suspect lots of tents come from the same factories.
@RainyRider1970
