Don't get too excited. If you deal that damage it means you don't have gear to make this champ do that kind of damage. His gear is what whales have, not us.
It's worth mentioning that Rathalos requires some insane support to work on Hydra. I'm an end-game player (normally doing above 4.000K Hydra Clash points) and play-tested him for about 20h on Brutal. Unless you got Krisk, you probably won't be able to play him effectively enough to min/max Hydra. Without insane support, he will do less damage than epics such as Whisper and Royal Guard.
I got to give the Raid team they respect about the Champions kit that match the gameplay with the weapons in monster hunter. Long sword = counter, Bow = dps, Glave = support, Great sword = solo I think they hit the mark for the crossover this go (tip of the hat)
I would love to see him tested in some Reflex gear. I think there's a very viable scenario in which he doesn't use his A3 at all and gets crit damage and speed from other champions. Fahrakin brings HP burn, Ally Attack (which I think increases the passive counter?) and the missing Crit Damage buff. Throw him in a 2 piece retaliation set with CB counterattack accessories and that 30% chance to counterattack increases his passive's counter even faster. All to make sure his A2 comes often and his passive is always ticking
Also now realizing that Merciless's "30% chance to reduce a skill on dealing damage" might be the most insane set to use with him. I don't know if it triggers with Counter Attack and Ally Attack but even then, at least 2 accessory pieces and you still get to use Reflex
Reflex or relentless and retaliation or maybe go for the full 6 piece retaliation might be interesting. I can't farm Dark fae very well so little lethal gear so I think that will be my route to gearing him.
@@sieger358 you want to always have that 5th attack be the a2 if you have cold down reduction skills he could use a1 or a3 out of order. However I suppose if you manual every boss then it's not an issue. Just gotta pay attention.
@@sieger358 , You need a slow tuned team with counter attacks for both aoe attacks. Then you can match every a2 use with 5th skill use. You need 2 turn delay for the first a2.

I didn't get gnut because plarium sucks, had dungeon divers almost finished and had on multi battles with phone in pocket whilst at work.... pull out phone dd event is over and i have a FKN msg saying maint in x minutes, which pauses multi battle for no fkn reason and i didn't get the fragments from that one fkn event!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't make this guy do numbers even remotely that big. I think the issue is mostly to do with account development - if you aren't late to end the game, this guy will disappoint you.
Reflex is bad idea. U need to always keep him making skill 2 as 5th skill usage. Reflex will throw rotation of out the window. Only relentless. Must avoid ally atack and counteratacks.
@@kieranklein2527 nah, roatation only works for first round, them it breaks. So everytime skills must be counted. Some ppl will go mand cointing them on hydra
Please don't be nerfed... please don't be nerfed... Also, I think Saph calculated a theoretical over 22mil damage possible on the A2 if the stars align for it. Regarding the gear and masteries, I think turn manipulation, ability CD, or even counter attack might be a bit of a trap given the passive 5 turn mechanic. Yes, you get around to it more often, but you really need to time it with stuff like the burns, defense down, weaken, the A2 being on it's second activation for the AOE, etc. to get the most out of it.
@AresAndHadesWR He's good in most areas of the game and there have been several CB speed tunes developed for him, including with the A3 active. I don't think he'll get nerfed at this point either, but 22mil in a single hit does raise a bit of concern for a nerf. Also I'm not new but that has nothing to do with having a valid concern even if I was.
I have a serious problem with how he keeps calling the fusion champ “free champion“. Like Gnut. I spent $75 in energy trying to get him and because I had really bad goals with the shards. I wasn’t able to get him. And that’s really frustrating because I’m endgame except for my hydra team.
buddy been playing for 3years since 2021 my account is 100 and 2 70's it seem how i try to increase my teams dmg output and inc like crit dmg it seem impossible for me lol is joining a high tier guild matters most my guild is currently lvl 4 reaching a crit dmg like that is like heaven and earth to me lmao
And hes buffs/tm were stolen a lot of times. With a way to control mischief hes dmg would be even better. Maybe build rathalos as mischief tank. Yes losing some dmg stats but it will still better than 0 buffs
Yes retaliation is good and no they will not nerf him. In the last 2 years they only nerfed 2 legendaries (siphi and rotos). Nerfing leggos is not something they do generally
@@swamb9417 yes I know but he hit the demon lord CB for over 2.5 mil damage on skratchs video, last champ to do that was cadaver and he got nerfed in the ground

I don't even know if I'm ever going to try this guy out or even play this game anymore. What they did to that void Monster Hunter irritates me to no end considering I was lucky or unlucky to pull him. Depending on how you look at it. I'm tired of making trash void Champions just to water the pool down especially in exclusive champion
If anybody in arena is having trouble killing the likes of UGK, Nekret, siphi, taras and champions like that. Look no further than Nogdar. Probably the most slept on Arena champion in this game. Makes high HP champions irrelevant
So basically, dear players, if you're not a kraken or an end gamer or both, get bent. No content creator will ever give you any useful info if you're still early in this game and not a kraken. Good to know
