These tires are great. 20k on them still looking as new. I've used them on road at high speeds (120mph) no issues, also used them while climbing dunes and I didn't even need to air down. They have very good grip on every condition. Almost no noticeable noise and their aggressive looks its amazing. I would buy them again for sure.

I currently run Toyo MT 35s on Moto Metal wheels, I've always run them my last few tricks had 37s and 38s. I live in Washington so a place called Les Schwann had an exclusive on Toyos and they are outrageously expensive. A small tire shop just moved in next to me and I bought a set of "cheap" tires to put on a different set of wheels do the winter, they are Patigonias . I thought the would suck, they look loud a rough. I couldn't have been more wrong , they are the smoothest quietest mud tire I've ever run. I'm not sure what's next but definitely done with the Toyo MT.

I have 20k miles with these on my ram 1500 and they are wearing perfect. I rotate every 5k bring the rears to the front and cross the fronts to the rear. I have no complaints about performance in any condition. They're great on dry pavement, never had a problem with them in the rain even a downpour I don't feel any slipping, light mud and snow they're great. My only complaint is they will pick up small gravel size rocks and throw them all day long. So with any kind of negative offset you're going to mess up your paint, but it's all good.

I have them on a 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins(35x12.50x18). Super quiet and a good feel in dry conditions. Thing I don't like so much is lack of traction in wet and snowy conditions. The heavy front end of the Ram is planted, but the back end lets loose way too easy with the RGs.

I've had my Ridge Grapplers since Feb, 2017 and have put just under 80,000 miles on them. They still have lots of tread left. I'm sure I'll get 30k to 50k more with them easily. I drive a Toyota Tacoma with 265/70/17. Great tire and will purchase them again when it's time.

These tires look great but I'll never own another set. Mine are really slick in the rain. I never had the rear end of my truck kick out on wet roads in a low speed turn until I put these on my truck. Now, I have to be super careful in a turn on wet roads. I've also have a balancing problem with mine. I've had my wheels checked, no problems. We've checked them in 2 different shops on 3 different balancers and the machines say that all 4 tires are balanced but there is still a vibration at highway speeds. And because the machines show all 4 tires balanced, it's hard for us to tell which tire is causing the problem. I had hub centric rings installed made specifically for my wheels and this helped some but the vibration is still there at highway speeds. I had my truck inspected to see if something else was causing the problem and everything checked out fine. The problem didn't start until I put these on my truck. At just under 2000 miles on the tires, we contacted Nitto for a replacement set and they denied my request, claiming I waited too long. So now, I have a truck that drives just fine in the city, but vibrates every time I get on the highway.

The Walkin Dude im sorry to hear that. I cant believe nitto denied you with only 2000 miles on these tires 😡. Thats horrible customer service. These might be my first and last nitto tire. @thewalkindude7716
@thewalkindude7716 4 года назад
@@juaninestroza4200 Thanks for the tip but I'm already aired down. Max pressure on my tires is 50 psi and I'm running at around 36-37 psi. I've called several places that sell and install these tires and that's the pressure they're recommending. I can understand airing down to go off road, but to suggest that I should air down even more just to drive on a wet paved road is ridiculous. I now have over 5000 miles on these tires and the problem still exist. I'll never own another set of Ridge Grapplers.

Got 40k+ on my set. Starting to get slick in the rain. Really liked these when I got them because they were not on everybody’s rig. Good for all around “road” use, but have found them to be terrible in the mud. They fill up fast and don’t clean out well. First experience in some slick mud with lugs filled bounced my rear quarter off a tree. Wasn’t pretty and and I was giving it hell to get down a road with limited use after a light shower. I wouldn't get these in areas of snow or rain. Had them on my truck in the Northeast. They are barely passable in snow and sketchy at best in the wet. maybe in a southern climate or if you plan on putting on a snow tire. They are great for everything else probably one of the best. I just wasn't happy with wet and snow performance and the odd thing I found in reviews is that it is pretty split down the middle. You can find 100 people that say they are the best and 100 that say they are the worst in wet and snow. This is pretty odd unless it's a quality control issue?

Wait, what? The Ridge Grappler is made at the Toyo factory in White. Off hwy 411? I live nearby and work at a small factory in Cartersville. Dammit... one more reason all signs point to Nitto.

@@vsujones I have a set of 33s on my 2017 Tahoe, and live in New Mexico. Driven them thru mud, snow, rain flooded/muddy Arroyo's. I'm a little over 2 years on the same set, about 22-24k miles and they are very quiet on road and still give a good offroad performance. Especially with 4x4 they definitely are one of the best all around performance I've ever had. I'd say the other best comparable tires would be Toyo open countries. They also have a very aggressive side wall and look to them!!

Hey, thanks for the video ... could you please comment on how these do on-road in the wet? I have A/Ts at the moment that are quite slippery so looking at getting new ones, and considering these Nitto Ridge Grapplers while comparing to Wildpeak AT3W and MAXIS RAZR AT811
@highpro1394

Do you know what width those 37s are on that tundra in the video? Also what size wheel and offset is it? I would assume it has the 8 inch ready lift since it has 37s under it right? I heard Fuller say that this truck belonged to an employee of custom offsets.

I had them on our wrangler a few years back. Tire is awesome and quiet. Got great mileage and for being as wide as they were they were good in rain and snow. I would've bought them again but they didnt come in the size I wanted.

Im looking into buying the nitto exo grapplers for winter here in Montana, and the ridge grapplers for the summer. However, going that route gets really expensive. Would you recommend running just these all year round? I know you sort of touched on this in the video but just hoping you had a chance to experience both tires and could give me some clarity on this. Thanks.

I would like to know this as well. I'm in central Ontario, Canada we get a bit of snow here too. Love the ridge grapplers and the exos look amazing too. I would certainly like to run both tires as you said. What did you end up deciding to do?
@user-lo3dl1ew7o
@user-lo3dl1ew7o 2 года назад
@@patrickbass3118 I just figured I run down the blizzaks I have on my truck to get my money's worth for now and upgrade this summer. Although I have decided to go with the wrangler duratracs as a one stop shop tire when the time comes. I can deal with the loud road noise in the summer and from what I heard they are excellent in snow amd ice for the winter.

I have them on my RAM. Good tires but if you have a offset you will need mud flaps or big finder flares. Because these tires pick up every rock you drive over! They have ruined my paint! So it you like paint chips then these are great tires.

i’ve had ridge grabs on my silverado for around 15000 miles and they are about bald. I’ve done 8 small burnouts on them and I do like the tires. the mistake I made was I bought the XL load range tire, which only comes with about half the tread. if you buy these tires go with the 10 ply load range E. definitely worth the extra $250-$300 for 2 times the durability.
