There aren't many series that I can go back and watch again, but this is an exception. I related to so much in this show, being a Single mom who raised a wonderful son who is now 30. His Dad not present and hasn't seen him since he was 10, my parents did help me out a lot when he was younger. He was pure joy for them and they are holocaust survivors & escaped Vienna as children, my Mom was only 9 at the time, and they both (not knowing each other) managed to make their way to England , so my Mom was sure to maintain a British accent. I won't ramble on any longer, but cannot express to Pamela how deeply cathartic, painful, joyful and all the emotions in between her show is for me. I thank you for creating such a stunning piece of art. toi toi toi ! Pamela is my sister in so many ways and I relate to her on so many levels - Mazel Tov on completing season 4, and here's hoping we'll get to see a season 5. L'chaim from Toronto, Canada
What a rich life tapestry you have woven! Here's the thing. I am 58, never had children. And I completely relate to Sam. This show is about the journey of women. All women. And our journeys are beautiful. We should share more with women. Be each other's bros. :-)
I have just watched the Season 4 finale of Better Things and I just burst into tears, from start to finish it was one of the most moving pieces of television I have ever seen. God bless you Pamela, you are writing for so many women out there.
I was honestly scared of this show. I had made up in my mind that it would be cringy or I’d have to watch with my remote in hand! I was wrong. I absolutely ❤️ the way it’s shot, the way it feels, and the trueness of it. I’m late to the party, but I absolutely treasure how touching it is.
Season finale was one of the best shows I have ever seen!! Thank you for making such a beautiful piece of art that tells deep secrets and feelings we go through as women from little girl to woman the life journey. Very empowering. Thank you Pamela and all the amazing actors and everyone involved making such art!! Metta ☮️❤️
I've binge watched all 4 seasons 4 times already and milk the last few episodes of the last season until the next (5), which I'm currently watching...#7 "Family Meeting" tonight. I'm so sad 5 is the last. But I'll be watching all 5 seasons over and over for the rest of my life, seriously. Whenever I feel down it's the only thing that picks me up. It's the most realistic show on air. The life you always wished you were a part of in some capacity, like a friend next door. Plus, I lived in L.A over 25 yrs ago, so it brings back warm memories from that time period. Pam Adlon is the most genuine, cool woman in Hollywood. I LOVE YOU PAMALA!!! Please keep acting and directing!!
Pamela is sorely underrated as a comedic actress, or, even a dramatic actress. I have loved her in everything she's ever done. Better Things is the best show I've seen since Schitt's Creek. It's rare to make me laugh outloud when I'm watching something alone, but, this show does it frequently. So relatable and honest.
Great job on every single detail ! The cooking scenes, 👍 great idea and would love to get some recipes LOL. The music..... Omegerrr ! Incredible cast, storylines, Art, EVERYTHING🤗. I've already shared Frankie's typing scene on Facebook LOL. Would love to know who came up with that👀🤔
I cant believe you're show is off the air. I love you so much!!!!,please come back. Independent labels, forever! Please,,dont leave. We love you. I've loved it work, since Tracy Ullman Show,Simpsons, etc. But I love,"Better Things".
