Better Things is the story of Sam Fox, a single mother and working actor with no filter, raising her three daughters in Los Angeles. I love this show. My mom would have never been this cool. That aside, I think Pamela Adlon demonstrates perfectly in this show that the memories that make the biggest impact on us, that give us the greatest joy are not always the big, important moments like graduations or weddings. It's all the little moments in between. The moments that sneak up on us and catch us unaware. They're the moments we wish we could hit pause on our life and savor how delicious they are, and they are the memories that carry us through the bleak and dark times. It is those precious little moments of childhood and motherhood that are exchanged that we remember when we leave this world. The little snapshots of the little moments that we wish could last forever and do in our memories. The show is brilliant--Pamela Adlon is brilliant.

Omg, I fkng LOVE this show. I watched it last night. Can't wait for next ep. Pamela Adlon is such a great actor, in fact the whole cast are fabulous. I'm so so HAPPY it's back.
