I just don’t understand people putting faith in these soft players every single year and expect a different result. Every October they think this time will be different. It’s just beyond me. I’m telling you it’s not the injury or some bad luck. It’s the “personality”. But next year after 6 months of regular season, ya’ll gonna forget 2024 October and for the 10th, 11th time think maybe it’ll be different this time. No, you gotta completely dismantle the roster and rebuild, w/ some serious characters, around Ohtani. Sign Correa, Bregman, and/or Bauer. Remember, we don’t have much time. After 9 more years this team will be a bust for at least 10 years because we’ll be bleeding $68M a year to pay Ohtani who won’t even be playing. He may very well decline even before that deadline. You’re gonna waste next 5, 6 years by continuing to put faith in choking artists?

Positive in game 3 is, Ohtani is excellent against King. Need somebody on-base though to put more pressure on pitchers facing Ohtani. And Mookie's bat need to wake up.Muncy heating up is a good sign. Lux is the Dodger's best hitter so far in this series, hope it continues to lengthen the lineup.

On point observation especially with the Lux narrative. He is 3 for 7 in the 2 games they played. Mookie needs to show up. I think Roberts needs to bring back Mookie as the lead-off and put Ohtani as the 2nd or 3rd hitter in the top order of the line-up. Probably mookie's mind is on the podcast and not on the plate. Shohei is 6-14 against Michael King in his career with 3 HRs and 15 RBIs. Hopefully it will continue in game 3

I don’t think opposing players should antagonize the crowd. So I blame Profar doing that. Getting the crowd excited. It’s only one game. Most teams who win have to get at least one on the road.

Gavin Lux is the Dodgers' best hitter in this series. He is 3 for 7 in the 2 games they played. Mookie needs to show up. Dodgers have always and will always struggle against darvish.Hes their kryptonyte.San diego knew that when they traded for him and signed him.Dodgers need to win the next 2 because they're not beating darvish in a game 5.

Showing emotion after doing something that is exciting is great, we all want that out of our players. Showing up the other team is not, big difference. You're likely going to disagree based on the tone of your post, but what the Padres players do is directed towards the opponent and not towards the emotion on an exciting moment. For instance, what Flaherty did last night to Machado is not something I would support, because it was personal, by directing is specifically towards the opponent. What Ohtani did was totally appropriate because he wasn't trying to show anyone up. He was just showing excitement.
