This honestly deserves so much more views... It is a masterpiece. I was on the verge on quitting Riverdale because of how boring it and messed up it became. The only things that kept me going were those subtle things they implemented with those two. They are building such a deep and strong understanding and you portrayed it to perfection. I can't stand how Veronica turned Archie's life in shambles when she dragged him in her Daddy issues. She had him almost killed so many times, yet he kept going back to her. I feel like they are making him slowly realizing that he wants to make his dad proud, to be a honorable man just like he was... and that everything in his life went wrong after he rejected Betty when he didn't feel he was deserving of her. I recently watched the scene where he was hallucinating after the bear attacked him and when he was asked when everything went off track, he imagined Veronica wearing the first time he saw her and Betty the night he rejected her... Betty was the one who pulled him out of his hallucination. I truly believe that by growing into the man he wants to be, he wants to find the Archie he's lost on the way. The Archie who felt safe in a booth at Pop's with Betty and who was just being happy with her. Away from Veronica's family drama related to drugs, corruption and murders, away from gangs and Serpents... I got carried away because of all the feels you just made me go through and I couldn't thank you enough! This is a masterpiece!
That's all I want to see happen. I wish people would realize just how much Veronica is a horrible influence, she dragged Reggie into her families business when she couldn't have Archie do it. She pulled Archie away from music, which ended up getting him arrested because of Hiram. Then, she keeps getting Archie involved with her families business while completely forgetting that Hiram literally almost killed him WITH HIS BARE HANDS. Just an example from episode 17 of season 4; of coarse Archie didn't want to interfere or even help Hiram. He got him arrested, had him targeted by others, so that he would be killed, and then boxed him almost killing him. If I was Archie I would never want to see him again, why would I drive him to a hospital if he didn't ask me to. If he asked me I would, but other than that I would never. I want Archie away from Veronica because she just made his life get thrown out of balance. If he never dated Veronica, he wouldn't have been arrested, wouldn't have had to live out in the woods hiding from the cops, wouldn't have gotten attacked by a bear, and he would have taken the SAT's without the pressure of not being in school for a large amount of time. He didn't even need to date Betty to have a better life, just not date Veronica or get involved with her families business.
Juliette Kuster-Beck cannot like this enough, Varchie is basically sex and bad drama, Bughead is also drama, danger and Jughead dragging Betty through one mystery to the next, Betty and Archie give so much of themselves to their partners it annoys me! Barchie is equality, Archie trusts Betty above all his other friends, and is afraid to let her down, that means to him Betty is on a pedestal that should be occupied by Veronica, this is very telling, Another thing is that Barchie love Riverdale its their home no matter what, Veronica will eventually move back to New York or jet setters around the world and Jughead will also move on and travel around America, Barchie will do those things together but they’ll always return to Riverdale
I don't even know what to say. In the beginning, I was a Barchie fan. Though, it didn't take long for me to convert to Bughead, especially due to my love for Jughead. I even really liked Bughead. They're very cute together. However, I've never cried at a video like I just did. Very much like Betty, I can't deny the way I'm feeling. Betty stepped back when Archie rejected her, she let him fall in love with her best friend. What she did is completely selfless, almost nobody could do that. Letting someone go, when you love them that deeply, is so unfathomably hard. Their love has always been so pure. Veronica put Archie in harm's way over and over again, almost got him killed. Drugs, her father, everything-Betty did the opposite. She repressed and repressed when all she wanted to do was be loved by him. It took Archie seeing Betty and Jug, to begin to realise how he felt. & No matter how much I love Bughead, even Jug saw it coming. He said it in his writings. They have so much history, and though history may not always mean everything, in this case it does. I trust Kevin, what he said is accurate, even if they aren't together now, they will be. We see it throughout the show. Archie who begins to realise how he feels, Archie who got saved by Betty after prison, over and over again. He never felt good enough for her, so, he ran. These scenes, the way they're put together, the montage, the music. It's all perfect. Deep down, I think I've always known, even as a Bughead shipper, Barchie was endgame. I only now see why it's so loved. Their love is strong and a slow burn and pure. It is kind. Archie didn't want to be with her because he didn't think he was good enough for her, and she let him leave. It wasn't forced, and their friendship stayed alive. I hope it's endgame.
Ok, this was the most beautiful edit I ever saw about Barchie and I see a lot. I cried, everything was perfect, the scenes, the song, the dialogues. Everything just blended so easily. I can't actually believe the numbers of views like this deserve so much more . So I wanted to thank you for the marvelous job you made. Thank you.
I’ve watched a ton of these videos this is by far number 1 you broke down how they’re meant to be beginning to end how they love and just can’t keep each other at risk of danger and showed in one video the meaning of love, they were always meant to be. Also if anyone made varchie videos or bughead videos you can’t see these things it’s the little thing that matters subtle things. Archie and Betty is meant to be because of their past and history.

This is my favorite barchie video. So simple, but yet so captivating and beautiful in telling their story. I watch this all the time and it should have so many more views. Love it!!!
He's a darn player because he didn't listen to his subconscious that always screamed his love for Betty. He didn't feel good enough for her, so, he repressed it, and he tried to fulfill the void with others. He couldn't pretend no more. She's the one, and he knows it now more than he ever has. She brings out the best in him, makes him so utterly selfless.
@@siriuslybookish4204 but its a little late for archie.he really hurt betty after he told her he dident love her.and if he really loved her he wouldnt go after betty when she is in a relationship with his bestfriend.the only reason he went after betty is because ms grundy died.
Betty would be dump to leave jughead ,who was there for her for 4 seasons,for Archie who kissed:Betty,Veronica,Valarie,Josie,Kevin,Joquin,Cheryl,Ms Grundy,Farm girl-THE FARM GIRL WAS JUST A STRANGER WHEN HIM AND HER KISSED! (I am going to get attacked in comments)
Veronica doesn’t deserve Archie. But Jughead deserves Betty. I think that this video was great, though I don’t support Barchie. But this is great, it’s amazing.
