This is a condensed version of the cartoon "Betty Boop's Ker Choo". These kiddie movie films were sold in department stores for $1 several decades ago before VHS. Let me know if you grew up watching kiddie movies like this as a kid! I love to hear your stories!
This was originally going to be a cheesy bonus feature on an upcoming Betty Boop DVD set, but the video quality is just so bad. Something is wrong with the film. Every other frame is blurry. I don't know why. When I worked on it to clean it up, the film just looked even worse; it was like all I was doing was just magnifying the bad video quality of the film. It looks better unaltered.

In the late 1960s , I had a cousin who had one of those silent film projecters. He used to show us silent movies of Abbott and Costello , Laurel and Hardy , Frankenstein , Dracula , the Wolfman and cartoons. It was a different world back then , there were no DVDs , 24 hour cartoon networks , or internet. We were used to watching a black and white TV , so watching movies at home was a real treat for us. I saw a lot of those old Castle silent movie prints on RU-vid.

Thanks for sharing! ☺ The box art for those classic horror films on 8mm and super 8 are so awesome! I have some of those films you mentioned like Laurel and Hardy, but they're short kiddie films like this.

@@VeganPopTarts Well , they were for home viewing so the films were stripped to the bare essentials. People saw the movies at the theater so like the silent movies of the past , they had to imagine dialogue in their minds. Please don't let some viewers comments get to you. They are subscribed to your channel and are probably unfamiliar with silent movies. You did post the cartoons were silent , but some people ignored the warning , lol!
