After a long journey from Tijuana through the Mexican countryside I arrived at the small private air strip where I met up with the pilot to discuss the flight route. Our first flight covered the Colorado River Delta where the Colorado River ends in the Gulf of California.
This area is formed by the river itself, in and outgoing tides, as well as the heat of the desert like climate. All together making it a perfect location to document the Ever Changing World. If you want to learn more about what you can see in the aerial pictures, you can do so on www.paullichte.com under the Ever Changing Earth - River Delta.
After the first flight I had some time to kill until the next one so I went on exploring the area, looking for a place where could be more or less by myself to do some analog photography. The results of this photography hike were not breathtaking but a good start to get used to a completely new environment. Oh and I think it's quite obvious that I wasn't properly dressed for the Mexican weather, coming straight out of the German winter.
