Question: Do you prefer to see a slightly trimmed and shorter video or the full dungeon run experience? Let me know as I'm considering what to do for future videos.
I don't mind full runs, but maybe open up the submission for subtitles, who knows, maybe someone good at korean may fill in on some korean words, i want to try, but i'm still learning, not fluent yet..
I guess it's healthy making a balance between the two. Even if the balance means making most more of one content than other. Oh, and don't forget to do some PvP content too, please :)
It's almost a masochism watching you playing this awesome game while I can't even nearly touch it. Hope it comes soon to NA/EU/Global. Great video as always! Keep the Lost Ark videos coming :)
First let me say that I' m watching your video from the ICU....and loving every second of this dungeon...just watching it and I can imagine what it felt playing it! Thank you very much for posting it for us!! And now I have a question...last night you mentioned that you'll will check out D4 when it comes out. Do you really think that Blizz could produce all these cool mechanics, effects and graphics that Los Ark has...in open beta? Consider this...you have D4 right now...and you're playing it...it just has a different name...Lost Ark!! To me Lost Ark is/has verything that I would like a game made by Blizz ...but it will never be delivered from Blizz 😉
Hi Lenny, thanks for the support and hope you're out of ICU soon. As for D4, Blizz can do whatever they want IF they want to do it badly enough. They could make a game as big as Lost Ark, but it's unlikely they will because they have so many other games do deal with. I don't think D4 should be like Lost Ark either because Lost Ark is more MMO than ARPG, or at least a very split hybrid of the two. D4 should be what Path of Exile is or better, a more traditional ARPG with a strong emphasis on telling a specific story and not flooded with MMO style quests of Kill X # these baddies, go collect X number of this item and bring it back to me type of quests. And once you've done that, then open it up to grinding like we're used to in ARPGs which you can't do in Lost Ark. Grinding loot in Lost Ark is MMO style, not ARPG style. So Diablo 4 needs to stick to being a good strong story driven experience with grinding in various ways at the end for very, very rare loot. I hope this all makes sense.
@@KineticGTR I absolutely concur with your analysis. Personally I have spent over 4.5 k hours playing D3 and then i stopped because I realised that a good rolled trifexta Zunimasa Pox took me 4k hrs of play. That' s why the new qesting and open world grinding in a diablo style is sooo appealing to me. Plus...I only played around 50 hrs of mmo games 😁
All atmosphere of this bossfight kinda reminds me about Chakravartin in Asura's wrath. Also, what's your favorite dungeon so far? They're looks so different.
That villainess looks hot, the walking animations are so smooth. Her creepy laugh sells the story so much. This game just blows my mind every time I see it.
i am very curious as a software developer: thats suppose to be an open BETA, have you experienced any kind of crushes? besides some graph glitches when overloaded with vfx (which can be because of your pc specs i dont know what you are ruining) this seems pretty damn stable so far!
No crashes, glitches or anything really notable so far. I don't know what my settings are for graphics but my Nvidia 980 seems to be taking it in stride. :)
I've seen there are things called dungeon tickets in the shop so im a bit concerned, cant we farm/grind PvE content at the pace we want? We're forced to pay if we want to grind extensively? Also, what about these resurrection feathers? Arent these completely broken? Can players obtain them without paying?
There is a limited number of "free" times you can enter dungeons daily, and I believe those tickets are there if you want to buy more entries. From what I've heard though, those tickets, the feathers, and most if not all consumables like that are available in the game for free and can be obtained by in game currency. Lost Ark is a MMO first and ARPG second. And just like all the MMOs I can think of right off the top of my head, they all have limits to the number of times you can enter dungeons each day or week until a reset. I think it's a good system and if we could enter dungeons as much as we want, you'd see everybody fully geared out in a ridiculous amount of time.
@@KineticGTR if tickets and feathers are obtainable in game, thats fine then I Guess. I think I didnt express myself properly, Im just scared that people who are willing to pay extra Money can bypass that nedded restriction. I Just wish there was no shop at all and everything was obtainable through in-game means, maybe with a subscription type of model.
People are willing and they certainly will spend ludicrous amounts of money I'm sure. At this point, I don't even care if they do as long as the game still remains balanced and fair to people who aren't willing to spend money like them and we can still have fun and catch up with a little more effort. Gaming has changed and I think we have to remain flexible as gamers. We also have to call out bullshit though when we see it and remind them where the line is that they should not cross under any circumstances.
@@KineticGTR Personally, I think giving the option to pay extra money to ignore restraints that are fundamental to the MMO gearing system is far across that line, but maybe Im just overthinking the situation and there's not too much disparity between those who buy this stuff and "normal" players. After knowing that costumes are obtainable in-game and clarifying this feathers/tickets issue, the only thing left that makes me worry is what kind of monetization we'll get here. Buy 2 Play would be fine but im 101% sure we would get "intro packages" where the more you spend the more stuff you get for a headstart, that's the most unhealthy thing for a game's release in my opinion so I hope this wont happen; Subscription would be fine by me but it can't come with the shop, it's either subscription or micro-transactions, can't be both, so I dont think that will happen considering how lucrative micro-transactions are; Free 2 Play like it is in Korea would be probably my guess, but Im soooooo scared that the western publisher for the game would go full greed mode with the excuse it's free 2 play. They just cant mess up with this game after all these years of waiting..
just to make sure, i know it sound super dumb but... just wanna make sure. once the OBT is over, all accounts will get a reset and all characters and progress deleted, correct? Holding myself to put anymore time in the OBT for losing all the progress at launch.
Open beta is just early access to the finished product and a final chance for servers to get smoothed out and any critical bugs. Then full launch and and all progress by players continues.
See... Open. I don’t know how it goes in US or other Western countries But in here, OBT means Actual Open which there is no more reset like CBT So basically that’s how we think and that’s why there was quite big controversial on “MMO TERA” that they actually have reset the accounts after obt Nobody in korea thought there will be reset

Just mouse. The keyboard controls are set to abilities on letter keys and though I've not used a system like this before, I understand how placing them on letters like this makes access to abilities very quick and simplified.
Dr RuthLess111 iam 287 ilvl. The game starts at endgame xD these islands, raids, do stuffs you left behind in other islands, craft, new stories, new itens, new map holy moly, and all of this stuffs are new, this game is so fking awesome
적어도 내년 크리스마스까진 로아가 태풍의 눈일듯..디아블로 영향이 크죠 pc mmorpg 게임에서 당분간 대형신작 소식도없고 문제는 로아의 두번째 이야기죠 이제나온 신작겜인데 두번째 이야기라? 오바 아닌가? 하실검니다. 그러나 이해하기 어려운 투자액이 쏠리다보니 차후 업데이트가 얼마나 늦을지 가늠하기 어렵다는건 진실 아닌가요?
Ok. That was the coolest boss fight I've seen in any game. Now i am ACTUALLY UPSET that this is not being released in the usa. That was a beautiful dungeon! P.s- what do the macoco seeds do?
Some people are saying the game is already confirmed to come west. I'm skeptical but still very, very likely given how hyped so many people are for this game. The seeds are exchanged for special unique items like cards for the card game, a special boat, and some other stuff.
