Between The Arrivals: Private Acquisitions 

Realistically, what a private engine would do in this case is switch/shunt trains, and then transfer loaded output trains and empty input trains from the industry to the very first possible drop-off point off the industrial line and exchange them for empty output trains and loaded input trains from the carrier railway. At the Orlando N Trak club, one of the jobs we have for ops is to run limestone from the quarry at Harris Glen to the drop-off point at Bethlehem Steel. The privately owned switcher for Bethlehem Steel, an EMD SW1000, takes the empty limestone hoppers from the limestone track to calypso yard and then takes the loaded ones back, then the Harris Glen Local (usually run by a pair of GE "Gevos") takes those empties from Calypso Yard to the limestone quarry at Harris Glen, as well as any supply loads for the quarry and anything going to the lumber mill also at Harris Glen, and then exchanges those cars for loaded limestone hoppers to be taken to Bethlehem Steel next session, and anything going back to Calypso to be forwarded to Martin or taken to Bound Brook or Cincinnati on a drag freight. For Anopha, Ralph would realistically hand over the trains either at an exchange track at the quarry or on one of the yard tracks at Ffarquhar, rather than running them all the way to Elsbridge.

Well done with this video man. At least Ralph will keep the quarry on Thomas' branchline organized and the quarry will be able to keep up with the amount of multiple contracts for now.

So Mavis wasn't the only private engine the Anopha Quarry had. 😉 I wonder when we'll get to the part where Thomas becomes a "regular law breaker". That constable is such a delight. 😜 I've been hearing instrumentals of Christmas carols in a lot of your videos, dude, particular "Oh Come All Ye Faithful". Rather odd, since there no videos taking place during Christmastime.

I personally just suddenly seriously can't help wondering who'll be in the next official episode of Engine Arrival SINCE we've already seen Toby the number 7 brown steam-driven railway Tram Engine to Molly; which certainly happens to be very shockingly surprisingly remarkable!

If I'm not mistaken, Wikipedia says that Ralph is based an LMS Fowler Duck Tank Engine: Only ten were made from 1928-1929. These engines were numbered 11270-11279, but were re-numbered three more times. In 1933 to 7100-7109, in 1939 to 7160-7169, and for the last time in 1948 (Due to Nationalization) to 41760-41769. The LMS Fowler Duck Tank Engines were 0-6-0T steam locomotives used for shunting in dockyards, due to the LMS's ownership of them. These engines were perfect, because of the short nine-and-a-half foot wheelbase used by Sir Henry Fowler, which he used self-centreing axle boxes by Cartazzi on the rear axles to help negotiate the tight turns and limited space on the docks. Unfortunately, they were all withdrawn between, with the first engine being scrapped in 1959 and the last in 1964.

I seriously got a specifically wonderfully great hunch that this official video for Between the Arrivals certainly would basically be officially where Ralph comes into the spotlight apart from Duck the Great Western Railway 5700 class pannier tank engine's own official Engine Arrival episode from awhile back!

You know, during the official episode of Engine Arrival featuring the former S & M locomotives known as Clive alongside Neil alongside Matthew who actually were on loan from 1915-1925 respectfully, they've certainly had experienced working wonderfully alongside Great Western Railway locomotives quite a short time BEFORE OFFICIALLY coming straight back to work on the Island of Sodor's North Western Railway!

I'm guessing this is after Toby arrived and before duck arrived

It was nice to see Thomas's Branchline in this episode, and learning how Ralph came to be on Sodor. I hope to see him with Mavis in the far future.
