I think everyone can agree on that. Once Shannon Doherty left it was like, good bye, you tried but it was not the same. But again you can understand word had it she was a pain in the ass on this and Charmed.
@@MARS0l i disagree it just took them a while to recapture the chemistry and spirit of the first few seasons. But kathleen and Tiffani were great additions
Season 5 was still good. It drastically went downhill after that though. I can't even watch Season 6 and beyond. I think they should have ended it after Season 7 when they graduated from college.
True they were all good.I saw what Australia did when BH 90210 went all college years on us and Channel 10 had to fill the gap with Heartbreak High in the nineties just to have something for the teens. They should have left the teen offerings for the younger ones to abc and channel 7.
@@superlex611 True.I looked at how the rest of the world tried to copy it with their own variations or versions and it screamed beer budget.I watched Heartbreak High and it was a billion times worst version of Degrassi and BH 90210 combined for the nineties and it was totally unnecessary(For Australia,UK and Europe only). But without BH 90210 would we have had a Ready or Not,Sweet Valley High,Clueless,a new age Degrassi and in much more recent times More than this(Australia).
hahhahaha OMG YES, Amazing hair, his eyes always matched what ever he was wearing, he was smart with doing the school paper, and god damnit he was the best kisser I ever seen in my whole life :D ha the episode where he was in the bathroom with just the towel and his bare chest, I thought I died and went to heaven lol Still my number one, I have my own facebook album all devoted into that handsome lushish cutie , sexiest man in the world :D
Season 4 is my favorite. I liked the show better with Brenda. Seasons 5-8 were ok. Seasons 9 and 10 were stupid. They should’ve ended the series in season 8 with Brandon and Kelly getting married. And the series was about The Walshes, but none of them were even on the show anymore.
The special handshake Dylan and Brandon have is soo awesome! I’m doing that with my 5 year old daughter now, she thinks it’s sooo cool;) you can see the genuine friendship between the two actors.
Luke Perry always been my favorite actor growing up. Not just by this show but on my favorite cartoon Mortal Kombat Defenders of the realm as Sub-Zero. He was a big part in my childhood.
What they could have done had a Junior High version existed a few years before it as well and cast changes was it would have lasted about six years so about 1990-1996/97 and no college years. What percentage of originals were left by the time it ended in 2000 is not known.
Actually, I tuned out after Tiffani Thiessen left. The same thing happened with the original 90210 that happened with the original "Melrose Place": Original castmembers left, and the people they got to replace them with were what ultimately killed the show.
Love the show furthermore love Shannen Doherty, Brenda Walsh & Dylan McKay the best couple on the show ever! After the 4th season, it wasn't the same without Shannen Doherty I love you Shannen Doherty!
This 4th season is clearly based on the departure of the female lead character. Brenda and dylon were obviously meant to be but due to the behaviour of Shannon offscreen. Luke perry requested less time with her which would explain why dyl and kelly more or less got closer
i know people love to joke about Gabrielle's age, but even in season 4, originally aired the year mighty morphin power rangers premiered, all the main actors, here, except Carol, look a lot younger than David Yost does in mmpr
Australia got it late 1991 going into early 1992.Previously the teen drama market was exclusively an ABC thing with Degrassi and Grange Hill(without either do we think there would be a BH 90210).It made the Australian Soaps of the day look cheap by comparison.
Ha the original at it's best, I'm sorry, but I almost want to say to the new one, move over , there can only be one Beverly Hills 90210. Change the name so it's edgier, more flashy , get all star cast, dress it up any way you like, but you can't beat real connections to the audience and real cast members who were friends for such a long time I know with Shannon there was some trouble but I'm sure they loved her for a time YES I love the 90'os fashion ha in my opinion I still wear that stuff ha yup even the 80'os. You have Darren Star and Aaron..I don't think Aaron would like the new show..but that's just my take. The theme song, so iconic. In real life a fan stopped doing drugs because of this show..can the new one say that? Sorry, just something strongly I feel about this show compared to the new...the new just wants to be more hip and no connection..they look so immature again just me. The original now and forever :D yes seeing that emblem I thought this was the coolest show on the planet :D and it is still ha and that electric guitar ha sexy as hell lol lmao as well as the hottie men that inhabited the show :D Brandon ha my first love boat I always need to be fanned at all times for him, Steve has his own smile and charm and Dylan ha damn he was so cute too but...Matt..Noah haha somebody fan me hehehe!!!
The original was the best.I saw the remake and while not a bad thing It was more for a generation who were babies or toddlers or not yet born when the first one debuted in 1990/1991.Out of the originals I could identify with the David and Donna characters as I wasn't with the popular crowds at school and I struggled with my education as well but it did not mean I was dumb.
It can't be denied that they were trying to make Brenda a b*tch, so that's the reason she became an outcast and the actress was probably tired of this bulsh*t.
Probably.Tori was on Saved by the Bell at the time when her dad decided to create BH 90210.This show came into existence due to the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION refusing to sell Aaron Spelling the rights to Degrassi. He decided if they want to be that childish we can take them on and create our own and make it better.
