From store side they've alot of pressure on sales teams as apple only operates at 5-7% margin and these cases tempered glasses have upto 70% margins so they milk all the customers as much as they can to meet thier sales target and staffs are incentivised too. As much as 1 apple care is equal to 800₹. 10-15% of attachment (cases and glasses) value as incentive.

5-7% margin? that's not true. Gross margins are around 45%. Net profit margins are 25% for Apple.

The processor used in apple is top ofc but whose display is apple using 🌝🤣. Does Apple have call recording?? And 120 hz refresh rate only for pro variants. Always on display, taken from Android ☠️☠️. And still in 2023 , 4441mah battery capacity in iPhone 15 pro Max. Wtf we know the issues of 14 pro and 13 pro when comes to battery life. apart from all that, Tim cook's boasting 🤣🤣🤣☠️

Actually if u want to buy accessories they give discount of 10.5% on MRP..& if u dont want to buy accessories worth of around 3500INR then they give discount of 8% on MRP..so if u calculate final price in both ways its just 1k difference in final purchase price…

Was about to face the same problem here in Dubai as well. Got the buyback of 3000 AED for 14 Pro, then was told to pay the an additional of 1200 AED for the "genuine cover and charging brick". I shouted so hard and reminded them who they were dealing with, they immediately took that of my bill and asked me to only pay the remaining amount for 15 Pro Max. I usually never show off on my position but for a change I had to.

unicorn is dooing similar things now as well, they release the offer of giving bundle free and when you go there and assk for the same along with iphone then they don't have stock available but the offer hoarding is still there in the showroom and on website as well. Even stock I was able to see there, but if you don't have stock then remove it from everywhere.

Never pre-order any tech item. The first production line always has the highest quality control issues. In the case of phones, wait for 3 months for things to get sorted. For gaming consoles, wait for a year at least.

Today i have faced the same thing , I went at the reliance degital and croma store of Howrah , they told me that I have to take mandatory APP protection of rs. 10 k and croma store told me to but an apple watch or an ipod .... When we ask them to show us any kind of legal proof they told us to go away from the store as they can't show us any proof but if we have to buy the phone we have to pay extra as well

The same thing happened when Ps5 released in India. All authorized Sony centre's and retailers did it. However they forced us to buy goods worth 10k plus the ps5. Or else you could never get your hands on one that early.

I bought it from apple store Delhi...but they said the exact opposite...like don't buy the tempered glass or case from their store because it is not necessary to to buy it from there because their cases almost starts from 5k and it's compatible with wireless charging and you'll also have to buy the wireless charger then...

Few years ago when Apple stop putting charger. On an iPhone 11 (I guess) there was one that came with a charger in the box and it was the only one on that store and when my friend ask for it they said that they will have to pay Rs 2000 extra. I told my friend if he buy that phone with 2000 extra we are going straight to the consumer court from the store. He didn't buy it.

Thats correct they were forcing to buy case and tampered glass worth 2k 6 months back when i went to buy iphone 13 , initially i disagreed but then they said then you will have to pay 2k extra if you wont buy the accessories.
