I decided to do 1 + 1 because after the 1st program I'll already have enough points for express entry. If this is your case then the 1st program can be in a private college where it's much cheaper
@@studyliveexploreca yes but the 2nd program will have pgwp. This is only for cases where after the 1st program in a private college you already have over 470 crs points. Because a private DLI will qlso give you CRS points. After the 1st program apply for EE then enroll in a school with pgwp
Hello you really have a good information site about student visas. You mentioned in your previous posts that PSW is in demand nowadays and here in BC, there are lots of schools offering such. MY question is some only offers it at max of 8months. Would this be a problem in case in applying for PGWP? (since it's less than a year). Thanks in advance for the reply
Hi, I am a 1 year program student at University of Winnipeg. I plan to apply for my PG work permit after my program as Manitoba's PNP allows you to get PR after 6 months of work experience. Can you suggest if this is a good option ? Also, once I get the provincial PR, for how many years do I need to keep working in Manitoba ? It will be great if you could answer, great videos. Thanks
Hi, is sounds like a good plan, just make sure that it can all actually work out. One year of PGWP goes very fast. I am not sure how the provincial PR in Manitoba works, you'll have to look that up on their website :)
I have started my one year course in Sept 2020 and it gets complete in April 2021 and i am planning to take another one year course in September intake 2021 so there will be gap of 4 months(April-Sept) so still am I eligible for 3 years work permit?
Hi Ma'am Mc! Is the AIPP still a good option to consider? I've read that it has been extended for only 2 years. Will it still be available if ever I choose a school in the Atlantic region next year?
Seems like as of now it is available until December 2021 www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/atlantic-immigration-pilot.html I am not sure what they will do after that, but keep in mind there are other immigration programs as well and I would think the atlantic provinces would still try to get people to immigrate and stay there.
Hi again, is it in demand the pharmacy assistant there in BC? If not may i know where should i go province cos im planning to take pharmacy tech/assistant
Hi Ms. MC, what if for now I opt to take 1 year program and later on as I completed my 1st semester I changed my mind and decided to take another 1 year program, do I need to indicate that on my study plan? Since as for now I’m still undecided and I am thinking that might be a problem later on?
Hi, Its not your plan to change your mind after a year right ? 😂 So no don't mention anything like that. I'd say do extensive research on the programs you are interested in, job market etc and make a good decision ;)
I am 27 right now. I have decided to risk it and go for a 1 year program because by the time I become eligible for CEC, I will be 30 and my points will start to go down. My projected CRS score 2 years from now (1 yr studies, 1 yr work ex.) is 481. Wish me luck guys. Plz drop a comment if anyone was in a similar situation :)
Thank's so much for this videos!!! You are very clear with the information about immigrate, and the other topics!! Kisses and hugs from Uruguay!!!!!!!!
Hi MC! I've seen your video about NBCC and they have a 1 year post graduate diploma too. I have a bachelor and 3 years of working experience, so says if I were to take the program what are the options of me getting a PR after I'm finished with it?
Hi Mc, thanks for the informative video. If had applied for tr to pr pathway during my bridging visa.. If application get rejected in worst case. Is there a chance for me to extend bridging visa and re apply for PR?

Hello Mc, I have decided to apply 1 year master program. However, May I ask if there r any platform that I check which universities provide 1 year master program in Canada please? Thx u so much.
Hi Ma'am Mc! Can I extend my studying period during this year, for example, I left one or two subjects' test so I won't finish my study & study much longer until my husband gets the PR... :) or it is not a smart idea.
Hi MC, How are you? Trust me the video was very informative As I completed my master's from India and applied for ECA and I'm thinking to go for the one-year study program. I'm 29 and I am going to get married in a month but she's carrying a higher secondary degree that is equivalent to high school I am currently working since the last 4 years with a call center We both preparing for IELTS so I can apply for PR But looking at the age I don't have much time last to get maximum points from age criteria so I have a backup plan and I don't understand whether I should choose a one year or two-year program
one year will only give you upto 1yr of PGWP which is for others is not enough to prepare for you PR. It is ideal to take 2yrs program at it will gives you up to 3yrs of PGWP which is a lot for getting your PR.
Hi I am planning to come in for a one year program when I am done with the one year program I will apply for another program which is a two year program and apply for a study permit extension My question is with one year programs will I get the 4 months summer break if I apply for September intake?
Hi, not quite sure I understand. You want to get your study permit based on a one year program, then before you start it change the program to a two year? (you have to inform IRCC if you do that)
You can do that, yes. If the first one ends in may for example and second one starts in September yes then likely you will have that summer break. But be sure to inform IRCC before your first program ends.
Yeah yeah, you right. I just can't go through the pressure of a one year programme. 2 years will give me enough room for planning. Thanks for your videos, I enjoy watching them always. Kudos 👍
Greetings from Chile. Thank you for the information! Very well explained. I have a little doubt🙏 Can I request residency for just studying 2 or 3 years without having had a previous study in the province of Ontario? I mean that if my study is not going to give me a master's or doctorate but only a certificate or diploma. Undergraduate. Thank you in advance for your response.
Thanks so much for this information, I want to study welding and fabrication in nbcc but one year program. My question is if the course includes co-op will it favours me and if not how will I go about it. Thanks for your videos
Hi , I have done my masters in biotechnology and I'm looking for a 1 year program in Canada so which place and what course would be suitable for my academics and careers paths ,kindly respond to me .
haii!! NEW SUBCRIBER 🥰😘😘I hope I don't sound stupid asking this but here goes. I am from the Caribbean can I leave high school ( year 11) then apply to study in Canada for 5-6 years? The first two years will be used to study the basic courses and receive diplomas in pre med and pre- pharmacy then the other years to further my education as required for my desired career. does that mean i am only able to apply for PGWP after those five years or ..... idk 😥😣😪I HOPE YOU SEE THIS.
Hi, Thanks for subscribing 😀! Depending on what those programs are you might be eligible to apply after one of them. However, I would recommend getting all your studying done and then get the PGWP since you can only get that once in your life. Also the longer the studies, the longer the PGWP you can find the PGWP requirements on the link below. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/after-graduation/eligibility.html
thank you for responding and for giving your advice. i will be doing grades 12 and 13 in my country first though . but thanks again, i really appreciate it .
hey, sorry, this might seem like a couple of elemental questions, but, are 2 year programs useful for someone who´s just get out of high school? and, is it posible to move to another province after getting my work permit without ruining my immigration process? Thanks!
Hi ma’am, I like to get into Biotechnology or nursing programs. So is it good if I choose the Pre health program? After completion of this program can I get into biotech or nursing easily as an international student?
Hello Ma'am MC please can i get an advice from you if maganda din po ba mag aral sa Trebas Institute in Quebec even they said that in Quebec is more on French language? Actually binigyan po ako ng dalawang option from my consultant. The second one is in Niagara College in Toronto but 1 year program only unlike in Trebas Institute which is 2 year program and while the tuition fee is almost the same. Thank you po and God bless 😊
Hi. I plan to study Recreational Therapy. I understand it is not a well known course yet; I just want to ask if you know anyone who is a RecTherapist and how the job market for it is. Thanks so much.
Hi, no I don't know anyone but that does not mean its bad. Here are some popular websites to search the jobmarket: ca.indeed.com/ www.jobbank.gc.ca/home www.monster.ca/ www.workopolis.co kijiji.ca (for unskilled and part time work, also for accommodation) ca.linkedin.com/ (Always good to have a strong Linked in Profile especially for your professional career opportunities)
Hi, My son is at present in Canada. He has completed one year course and now pursuing his second course which started September 14th. My query is still he hasn't got his study permit extension which he has applied on July 10th. Now he is in implied status. Can you suggest any updates as we are worried very much. When he raised a web form they said due to minimal staff the process is delayed.
Hm, maybe he could request GCMS notes? www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/transparency/access-information-privacy/requests-information-act.html He should definitely make sure that he is allowed to stay and whether he is allowed to study as well. Sometimes its helpful to just ask CIC on their twitter account.
What do you think about COOP programs? 6-months study and 6-months paid COOP. Do you think it's a feasible route for me to get a PR or at least be absorbed in a job?
I think they can be helpful to get a job or at least get hands on experience. Wether its enough for PR depends on all your other details. Check the CRS points calculator. Also see here for PGWP requirements: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/after-graduation/eligibility.html
SLE - StudyLiveExploreCanada I read the link you sent, just wanted to clarify, so even if the school doesnt give PGWP, you can still apply for PGWP on your own as long as the school is 1 of the 4 schools mentioned? What if the school is a private vocational school, is that classified as a Canadian private school that can award degrees?
Hello MC, thank you for this informative video. I’ve been offered a scholarship in Canadian College in Vancouver BC. I’m planning to take just 1 year certificate program. Im a graduate of 4 year course here in the Phils. Will that be a problem in my visa application?
@@sapnabajwa838 thank you for the response. The school however offer programs under St Lawrence Curriculum and it has PGWP. Should I rather choose it? However it is not related to my completed course here in my home country

Thank you for all the information you share with us. Greetings from Colombia!!! I have a question... If I study for example in NSCC (in Nova Scotia) and I would like to work when I get my degree in Toronto, is possible? Or I have to work in the same province where I got my degree?
Hi, Thanks I am happy its helpful! You can study in Nova Scotia and then study again in Toronto. You will have to get a new study permit or extend the first one. You dont have to work in NS unless you want to use their Immigration prgrams, I assume, but depends on the program.
I completed masters but i hidden my masters and I’m going to apply for 1 year post graduate program. When i apply for PR I will show my masters. Is it okay?? What do you think?? If i’ll do like this can i get PR??
You wanna "hide" like lie in ur application. I'll throw ur question back at you, "What you think? Is it okay?" Remember all the information you provided while applying for a student will be still there and they will take those documents for reference when you apply for PR and if they find out you lied in ur application not only will they won't approve ur visa but they will make sure you can't apply anymore visa not only to Canada but to USA, Australia, newzealand, UK because these countries share fraudulent applicants. Never ever lie in ur visa application. They will find out and when they find out you would be in more problem than ever.
Aswin Raghuthaman thank you so much for your reply, I completed LLB in 2017 then I’m working with a lawyer as a Management Assistant and now I’m doing masters also within this month i have to submit my thesis but I cannot take certificate and transcript within this year that’swhy i’m asking I’m going to apply 2021 January intake to Canada for 1 year post graduate program. When im apply I don’t receive my certificate so can i hide?? After complete my studies in Canada when i’ll apply for PR can i show at that time my masters??
Hi Ms. Mc, aspiring international student here, I'm planning to study a 1 year program (Culinary) at Fanshawe then get another 1 year program at NBCC since it's a lot cheaper. By the way I'm applying to get a PR in an Atlantic region. Would that be a good plan? Btw, it's too late for me to withdraw my application in Fanshawe since I paid already 2300 CAD last May for the intial deposit. My application is thru an agency here in Pasig. How I wish I watched your video (low tuition fee schools in canada) earlier so instead of paying at fanshawe for 1 year programI could have a 2 year program in New Brunswick instead. I hope you can read this. Thank you in advance.
Hi, thanks for your comment:) If you do two one year programs, that can be ok, but they should be related in a way/ you have to explain in your SOP why you are doing this. (saving money is not a valid reason for that) It is possible, but make sure to arrange having your study permit extended so you can do the other program at NBCC. Also make sure it works timewise, moving to a new place, etc. Btw if your study permit should get rejected, you will likely get some money back from Fanshawe (not saying it will) hope this helps ;)
And yes there is no chance u can get your money back from Fanshwe! My sister lost 2300 too from fanshawe, applied for appeals not granted! She just went to nbcc and let go the 2300, because at the of the day you will still save money if u transfer somewhere else now. We had terrible experience with Fanshawe they have no mercy comes to refunding money.
Hello MC, if I'm to study for a post graduate diploma course in supply chain management, which province do you advice will be the best, considering getting a job afterwards. thanks a lot
Hello, I already have a acceptance letter from Seneca college for January 2021 intake. Should I go for it? Or defer and wait for may or September 2021 intake?
Hi, I would recommend to ask Seneca College on what their plans are. Maybe you can start online first, depending on the program... But if you did not apply for your study permit yet, its getting very late....
Hi, I have 6+ year's of proffesional experience in my home country. If I take a 1 year programme and considering other factors my score Is enough to file for PR, can I I file for PR straightway after my education or is it mandate to get atleast 1 year of Canadian work experience?
@@geetaadhyayan1625 hi! is it necessary to be full time job of 1 year? or possible on part time job for more than a year as long as i met those 1,560 hours?
hi darling! I enjoy your channel! sorry but I still don't get it why a 1-year program is so risky if i want to apply to PR later :( . Is it because I need to find a job in 3 months? or why. Sorry, English is not my native language.
Hi, thanks for your comment. The main reason is that a one year program will only get you a one year Post Graduation Work permit. A two year program however gives you up to three years. This simply gives you more time to gain Canadian work experience, find an employer to support you if necessary, gain more points for immigration. It depends on your CRS score.
hi. I would like to ask if you take a 1-year program and decided to take another year for a different program. it is still eligible for 3 years PGWP? Thank you
Thank you for this information Ms MC🙏 I have a question, I'm actually processing my student visa now and since I'm married already with 2 kids. Is it really possible to take my husband with me? Is there any chances that the immigration might question us, or might cause of problem during my application? I'm sorry for my questions, but i just want to know your opinion too. God bless 🙏😊

I believe you only need IELTS if you apply through the SDS stream (express) If you apply through the regular stream you don't need it. But check on the CIC website.
