The BlueBrixx double crossover is a replacement for Lego's double crossover (7996) that is not produced anymore.
This video shows that the spring mechanism is not working correctly. A train coming from either of the converging directs should pass through the points onto the narrow end, regardless of the position of the points, as the vehicle's wheels will force the points to move. However, when force opening the points of the BlueBrixx switch then the point blade does not go fully back to the original position and the next train passing the facing point derails.

Der Federmechanismus arbeitet nicht korrekt. Ein Zug, der von einer der zusammenlaufen Gleise kommt sollte die Weiche unabhängig von der Stellung passieren können da die Räder des Fahrzeuges die Weichenzunge wegdrücken. Wird die BlueBrixx Weiche jedoch "aufgeschnitten", dann geht die Weichenzunge nicht mehr vollständig in die Ausgangslage zurück und der nächste Zug, der die Weiche spitz befährt, entgleist.
