I’m a hairstylist of over 30 years. My body is breaking down and I honestly think it’s from taking on the energy of others. I’m trying to walk outside more and pray and meditate to help my well being.

I am an empath, and can relate to everything being said here. Finally, at 60 years old, I am beginning to set boundaries. I have fibromyalga, sciatica and many other health problems. My second ex-husband burned our house down. Married to him 15 years, because I didn't want to give up on him. Thankfully, this beautiful woman helped me through this journey starting 20 years ago. I've done that ...cancelled things to help friends and they were never there for me when I needed them. I've learnt now to not be with these kind of people the guilt I felt when I walked away though is awful
You have to perceive is as the person came into to your life for the purpose of teaching us something about people. When we walk away from them …we just have to remind ourselves they no longer serve us any purpose. Forgive them first and move on. No guilt in that.
Been following Dr. Northrup for years. She is full if wisdom because she never stops educating herself, yet humble. God bless her and you for having her on your podcast. Loved it.

It surprised me on my path of awakening when I watched an interview with Her and Dani Henderson. Then I saw her name all over the books I purchased for Energy Hygiene by Cyndi Dale these incredible books on our Subtle Energetic Bodies. These books should have been in grade school (for Empaths),we are so much MORE! I love her & her Love Towards The Physics Of Consciousness We are Tuning Forks its an "Art Form" to master our emotional body and mental body using internally intuitively guidance (of Source) for the Truth!! I have been able to read people well. My bff is always amazed when I tell her stay away from that person and it proves out to be true. Some of us are just lucky to have this ability. It has not failed me yet.😊

Not all therapists and healers are Empaths. But many Empaths do end up being therapists and healers. Empaths carry the burden of the world on their shoulders. We must release that burden and never carry it again.
So true about how they make you feel... They can be like your best friend , helpful, charming, witty, attractive, but if they end up making you feeling sick and tired, nothing is worth that.

🙏❣ this information is SO PRECIOUS. I lived with one of these beings for 6 months and it took me another year to get him out of my house !! I ended up moving out and using the police to get him out... of course 'everything was my fault'.... My empathic radar as to energy-eating individuals has always been dysfunctional 🤪 and my mother is the one who could smell these kinds of people out... but of course one has to walk their own mud to realise that "mother knows best"... am almost 54 and am learning to fine tune my empathic skills...💫🍀🌼
She is also describing people who are Deceivers and Manipulators. Unfortunately I've had these people put roadblocks in my paths. Now they stay away from my life after I told them what I thought about them. I only want what is best tor me and my family.
Very interesting thank you, the only thing I would disagree with is that all therapists etc. are empaths...they can be narcissists etc. too and the story of the "wounded helper" is very real...if you don't feel your therapist, please don't continue with them
Exactly, my daughter has had some dreadful, shocking experiences with numerous , different therapists. She gave up on that course of action and now She’s actually her own best therapist , it turns out !
Hurt people (who don’t do their work )hurt people and that can include therapists. It always makes me sad though to hear about people in the helping field impacting their clients in negative ways

I almost fell out of the chair about Christiane’s Mom painting the Blessed Mother’s toenails. All my life I’ve thought that all of the statues of the saints feet were in rough shape for sandals. They could use those 5” toes to cling onto any rock!

Im 63 yrs old and read most of her books as well as watching many of her interviews over the years. She makes complete sense in everything she says, but for some reason I never felt the "Love Vibration" from her, and this interview is no different. IDK if its me, or if anyone else has felt the same?
Whats interesting is that this video feels more negative to me than dealing with some of the difficult people i work with and i work in mental health and see lots of people every day with legit mental health issues. Personallly i can find something positive in most people i come in contact with. And were all little slivers of the divine. The more i grow spiritually the easier it is to see the beauty in most everyone.
I agree, I felt she was talking about certain people without the unconditional love I generally find I have for everyone. There is always some beauty in everyone if you take time to look. Yes, have your boundaries and get out of unhealthy relationships, but the way she spoke about narcissists as if they weren't also part of the Divine didn't sit well. However, I did enjoy the podcast overall and will remember certain entertaining and helpful things she said.

Cockroaches=vermin=terrifying names to call humans as well as calling humans “vampires”… I’ve been thinking about this since I heard the talk the other day. I can’t use words/labels like that anymore, as I grow.💙
Wow ... that explains why I'd always fall asleep in departmental office meetings ... They were all energy vampires !!! Just entering the room to sit down was draining ...
