I'm a Tacos El Gordo fan girl and this location is our go-to. But that price increase..... What a major bummer. 😢😢

Almost $40 for that? Vegas is now ridiculously expensive. It’s absurd.

Nothing like a real corn tortilla - smell, taste. *Cilantro and lime - always magic. There is genius in this cuisine.

I've been to El Gordo several times. The tacos are good but also quite expensive. I ordered the Adobado fries for around $10.00. They gave me a huge portion and it filled me up. It's a great way to eat deliciously and cheaply. Great video as usual. Thx.

Not sure a place like this would survive in Jersey !! We dont have patience with ordering and confusion!!

Prices for tacos are up 10% in the past 6 months. I prefer Tacos El Pastor myself.

I spent $50 on nine tacos last time I was there and didn’t even get close to being full biggest rip off in the world. I will never eat there again I don’t care how good their tacos taste.

it's not worth it for the current prices. I though the prices were bad 2 years ago, but this shit is nuts. in 2021, carne asada fries were $14, not its $22 . Fucking ridiculous

While prices are being jacked ^UP^ everywhere at dining establishments close to $40 spendola's is a total GYP. It appears Taco El Gordo is turning into the proverbial "tourist trap" chain. BTW - Had you two bought drinks it could have easily reached $45 U.S. Best of luck attempting to polish off all of those fries. 🚫 💲🌮💲 🚫. 🤔

I personally do not encourage any tourist or newbie to visit Tacos El Gordo. The lines are a total scam to make it seem like it's popular. Go literally anywhere else, it's much better.

It's easy to see inflation in the food prices across the country. The weird thing to me is that a standard meal or item at a fast food joint is going to cost between $9-11, regardless of the offering/ingredients or portion size Do chicken nuggets/tenders, tacos, burritos, cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches, etc. all cost the same?

So if you want two different kinds of meats, you have to stand in two different lines? Oh no. That's not happening for me.

I hate to interrupt your culinary adventure but the best and reasonably priced tacos can be found in Tijuana, Mexico. The quality and sevice are superb. Those vendors know how to make a taco.

I see a lot of people complaining about the prices. Every taco shop, restaurant, grocery store has raised their prices. Its not just this place. Yeah, i remember when these tacos were $1, but that was 25 yrs ago

🌮 For all the Haters that are complaining about the price! 🇲🇽🇺🇸Mexican cuisine was awarded the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Award by the UNESCO. 🏆But, if you don't want to pay those prices, you can always get tacos from a Taco Truck. Plenty of those in Las Vegas. 🚚

My favorite taco shop in Las Vegas. You can tell it’s good/authentic by the number of Spanish speakers waiting in line down the strip. Definitely worth the wait in line.

*The Ordering System explained* When it gets really busy, the *quesadilla" line gets really long! If they had a regular line, the line would be out the door. In order to get the line moving quicker, what if you just want a *taco de carne asada*, get in the asada line and get your taco, quick and easy! Instead of having to wait behind all the people that want to get a *quesadilla*

I’ve been there before. The food is good but costs about 4 times the price you’d pay for just as good or better in Los Angeles.

I rather spend 20 bucks on El Gordo than 20 on a slot machine. Jackpot all the time 🇲🇽🇲🇽👨‍🍳🇲🇽

En USA toda la comida mexicana la modifican ,las papas no se ponen ni queso amarillo,eso no llevan los tacos mexicanos.

It’s the Katz’s deli of taqueria’s. Instead of pickles & pastrami it’s pastor & jalapeños. The fries are like Poutine fries or Disco fries

I can’t believe how much each taco is now we use to pay 1.00 for each taco and a burrito was 2.25 each. This was before they expanded to Las Vegas.

it's not confusing after someone explains the ordering system. I've never been here, but after watching one video it seems pretty easy. For newcomers, they might want to consider adding a sign that read something to the effect of "adobada line only... carne asada line only." or they can just watch a RU-vid video of it before coming.

I gotta try a Chorizo next time. I thought the tacos were pretty standard except for the al pastor, which is what they are really known for.

Do you guys ever put pico de Gallo or anything extra on your meal except for what they give you? It seems a little plain vanilla to me.

Besides, $40 for little bitty taco-ettes, a chorizo something and some soggy fries? There are far better alternatives for a Mexican food dinner.

Man, I have the pickiest kid ever. I mean, superrr picky and wouldn’t eat meat. We went in 2021 to Vegas and Tacos El Gordo. She took a bite outta my al pastor cause she said it looked interesting. Let’s just say she’s been asking to go back because it was the best food she ever tried.

Everything is expensive now. The portion sizes are huge so it's still a good value.

Yes, Tacos El Gordo is one of my favorite taco spots to hit up in Vegas.

Pro tip: you have to ask for the pineapple on the adobada tacos. Also, the salsa is behind the cashier where they sell the canned drinks, you have to ask for it too.

I have been there before, and the food is good but a bit pricy. I was raised on all of those foods at home, so I am a bit spoiled. I am more partial to cane asada and carnitas. You two are the best at what you do by far. I have been a subscriber back in the day when Derek was going solo. Work on your pronunciation of the food there and don't forget to roll the r's. Just kidding guys.

This is the problem. $38.00 for four tacos and a good size side. You could have gone to a really good buffet for the same price. Mexican food made a niche in the US for being simple good food at an affordable price. No more.

you can get everything s side Chicago for les than half

Basically don't worry about the line so much. Stand in the line of the majority of your order and they will get you the rest in the same line.
