In the 60's anything that has something to do with light romance, comedy and lot's of magic in the air was for sure a hit to all the viewers. I like both of these shows.
thats a tough choice. both couples have great chemistry with each other And I love them both. I think I'm gonna go with tony and Jeannie because they didn't replace Tony with another actor like they did with Darrin which ruined the show for me
I like IDOJ and Barbara Eden is a very nice person. But BEWITCHED was more than a comedy, it was one of the first TV series that has subtle but, important messages of acceptance, anti-biggotry, love, understanding of others, etc. Most of this messaging is shown by Sam and Aunt Clara and perhaps Uncle Author. I'll include Darrin, since he married Sam, but only to a point. The cast was great! Samantha/Liz is the heart of BEWITCHED. I also find the stories in the series more adult oriented. Sam and Darrin shown in the same bed is one example. Elizabeth Montgomery was adorable. She gave Sam much of her own personality, loving, caring, and strong. She would take just so much, before letting Darrin know that he has crossed the line. Samantha IS Elizabeth. ❤
@@renealexander2703 not until the end of the series, he thought Jeanie was a pain in the a$$ most of the time. If that isn't bad enough, he moved to Dallas, married Sue Ellen, and treated her the same way. What is it with men?
That is tough I like them both but I have to go with bewitched. It was just a little better Paul Lyne and Agnes moorehead beat any of the Jeannie characters

Bewitched is better love Elizabeth Montgomery . Great co stars With Agnes Moorehead and Nosey Mrs. Kravitz across the street with Avnet Kravitz , cousin Serena, Aunt Clara, little Tabitha,& Dr Bombay. Paul Lynda was funny too .
No. Major Nelson was very into Jeannie. Samantha had to trick Darrin into marrying her. She did not tell him that she was a witch until after they got married. Tony knew that Jeannie was a Genie. Big difference.
