Walk through Beynac-et-Cazenac, a charming old hill town stone village on the Dordogne River in this Aquitaine France travel 4K UHD video. This region should be on your France bucket list. One of the most beautiful villages in France, its cobble-stone lanes are a photographer’s dream as we take a morning stroll, enjoying its cottages climbing up toward the majestic castle on top and relish its panoramic views. Be sure to watch my other videos on the beautiful Dordogne region (see links below).

Haswell Travelled Haswell Travelled You are welcome and I am as pleased as you , it’s really fun to see that we have the same interest. I will surely go and see your other videos because I love France and also your way ove doing . We are retired since ( 5 years for me and 9 years for Hélène ) and doing what we like since then , Hélène is doing scrapbooking greetings cars and has a Facebook (Cartes d’Helene )and we love traveling with our camping trailer and I love filming since I was 17 years old ( super 8 in those days 😂 ) so started editing in different ways during all those year . Now I love editing very much and also capturing so when traveling I bring all my rig ...my wife is very patient ...Lol! 😂 Just bought a drone to ad different views in my future traveling videos 🤪 My RU-vidr friends from "Easy Hike and Great Landscape " are from Australia and came last summer to Canada and they stopped to visit us it was great to see each other’s. So this is why when I saw their comment in your videos I had to say hello to them . 😉 Well have a great weekend my friend and we will keep in touch ! H&S 👩‍❤️‍👨🌈 From Boisbriand Québec Canada 🇨🇦

Hi again! Yes, we do have a lot in common! 😀 I also started filming when I was a teenager - my first move camera was a used wind-up silent regular 8 film as a gift, then I bought a silent super 8 when I got a job. Love editing on the computer - versus the old cut and paste film! You and I did the original "cut & paste" Ha! 😀 If we make it to Montreal (some day we probably will), we will contact you - would be great to meet you both! Also, if you come back to Calgary, you can reach out to us as well. My wife Mavis wants us to get a camper van. She originally wanted a motor home, but I am compromising on a smaller camper van because I don't want to drive a big vehicle - but we haven't fully decided to buy yet. You are ahead of us in that regard! I recently bought a Sony FDR-AX43 early March after my older AX33 died in January (white screen of death - Lol). I have yet to use the AX43 due to covid - travel plans cancelled. I believe the AX43 is almost same as AX53 without the eyepiece. BTW, do you mind these personal comments published, or should I delete them? We could also email if you prefer. Or I suppose RU-vid like lots of comments. We'll keep in touch!
@SergeCousineau
@SergeCousineau 4 года назад
Haswell Travelled Haswell Travelled Yes I did cut & paste on super 8 videos with no sound ...I still have them also . But no more projector! ☹️ Remember when posting them and waiting for them ...and what a deception it was when they were not good ...😂😂😂 If ever we go back around Calgary we will let you know !👩‍❤️‍👨 I hope you find the good camper for your use, we have a 19 foot camping trailer and pull it with my Ford Escape 2 L , it can pull 3500 pounds , but I am limit . I have to take it easy in the hills and listen to the motor and temperature. I also didn’t want something big and I didn’t want to buy a truck specially for pulling the camping trailer, so I love our setup. I unhook it and we go we’re we want with the car . We did 22,600 km in this 84 days trip and 13,000 km only pulling the camping trailer. To bad for your AX33 i came close buying one . I don’t know about the AX43 but I believe it’s very good ...it’s Sony 😉 I do not used the eye piece on mine but I do used the remote control especially on the tripod and zooming. I don’t mind about these personal comments and yes we could get in touch by email or with Messenger and then FaceTime . Contact me on the email that is on my channel description and we will get in touch ! cousineauserge@icloud.com or our FB facebook.com/heleneetserge1/ Have a great day Jim & Mavis and take care H&S 👩‍❤️‍👨🌈

Hello there! Glad you liked it. It was very early in the morning, maybe 7 or 8 AM. My wife and I are early risers and had a long drive that day after walking through Baynac. We found it common for these villages and especially "old town" neighborhoods in France to not wake up until 11 am or noon. My video on the beautiful village of La Roque, just a 5 minute drive up river, shows you more what they are like during the day and evening: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d4MbdJjMAN4.html Your wonderful comment is well appreciated 😀. Thanks for the response 😊 I’m trying to plan our first trip to France for this October (maybe September) and are looking for another region to split our time with Paris. I was looking at Dordogne and Provence but it looks like Dordogne is winning. We love to hike/bike casually. By casual we like walks anywhere from 30 minutes and would do a hike if it was beautiful up to four hours or so and same with biking. If there was a beautiful trail we wouldn’t mind putting in 20 up to 60 miles but would go less too. Do you think this is a good region for that??
@HaswellTravelled
@HaswellTravelled 2 года назад
Hi. My wife and I hope to return to the Dordogne region - has many sites we didn't see on our short stay. We loved our short time there, and also visited prehistoric cave paintings as I mentioned in my Les Eyses video. We are not hikers, but there is a fair amount of hiking and canoe/kayaking options. This is one site I found: walkingdordogne.com/ My original information on the Dordogne area was from Rick Steve's France book, also available in most libraries. BTW, my wife's most memorable visit in Dordogne was a side trip to Maison Forte de Reignac. You can find all my Dordogne videos here: ru-vid.com/group/PLirieR7uMjsjHcgY8y_0sG3HPnJ97ezub If you go to Beynac, be sure too check out the castle on top of the cliff - truly medieval amazing inside.

Hi there! Not many people were around because it was early in the morning - maybe 8AM. My wife and I are early risers, but people in Europe tend to not be. We found in many old towns a local café not to open until 11AM. Fortunately here in Baynac the hotel was open and we could have a coffee before walking around. We couldn't stay long as we had to drive back to Bordeaux. I would love to return to Baynac some year. Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching, stay safe and take care 😀👍
