I love Beyoncé and I undoubtedly think she is by far the best vocalist that there is in popular music right now but this performance is clearly lipped. Any person that has watched enough live performances by Beyoncé can attest to that. It’s a prerecorded version with the catching-breath moments left intact in order to support the illusion of live singing. Anyhow, this doesn’t mean she cannot replicate this entirely live and do it even better. She just chose to lip synch for some reason and it doesn’t really matter. She’s still a vocal beast.

I use to say Beyoncé has a good voice but nothing great until I heard her sing this song. She sings this song just beautiful & really shows she can sing, she has an amazing voice. & you can tell this was live. Beautiful performance, beautiful song!
