"you don't have to speak a certain way to be brilliant". In a short sentence she has closed the mouth of all those who made fun of her way of speaking and her accent.
"Don't talk about what you're gonna do. Don't just dream about what you're gonna do. Don't criticize somebody else for what they're not doing. You, be it. Be about it. Be about that action and go do it." 💯💯
AdoringFan here we go with this bs. People clash with others. People always hold Beyoncé to this impossible standard. She’s a human being. Ran to this video to chat shit about something completely unrelated to the topic WITHOUT receipts. Pack it up
I started crying at "your queerness is beautiful" Beyoncés speech was among one of the most memorable from the classroom thing for me. Just so much kindness and understanding. She's amazing.
Queer means deviation, she was speaking about otherness. Marginal groups such as women, womxn, black people, LGBTQI+. It's inclusive of those that are not included in society.
“To all those who feel different, if you’re part of a group that’s called other, a group that does not get the chance to be center stage, build your own stage, and make them see you. Your queerness is beautiful.” Beyoncé is necessary
This is the most inspiring words I have ever heard from her and this legit made me cry even if I'm not a graduate of 2020 but these words definitely transcend to those people of minority. This made me love her even harder 😭😭😭
Thank you love, her message resonates across generations, we the collective, are all a part of the Class of 2020, poised at the starting line of this NEW AGE! Ms. Bey is here making sure that we collectively STAY WOKE!🙏🏽❣
Her humility is inspiring! "Yes. I've won 24 Grammys, but I've also lost 46 times." That's tough! People like to clap for the wins, but we often forget that as many times as one may win, they may lose just as many. What an inspiration!
Whenever I feel hopeless or need a motivator, I always seem to come back to this video because 1. She's my rolemodel, 2. She's speaking from the heart and 3. It honestly smacks me back to being productive!
“If you’ve ever been called dumb , overweight , unattractive , unworthy , of untalented well so have I “ - Beyoncé I don’t know why but I needed to hear that
Beautiful as she is she's not lying. Wendy Williams said to be quite speaking is not sumthin you're good at. I was like Wtf?? Wow! Sis, many of Us have those days of feeling everything u just typed, from 1 Black Queen to Another! You're Beautiful, Sexy, Smart!❤God Bless!!!
I have been called all but the only difference between me and Beyoncé is that for me it’s true😂 Beyoncé is the best tho, not gonna lie. I’m literally good at nothing.🙃
The words said was powerful, no doubt. But the shakiness in her voice while delivering these words was way more powerful to me! That shakiness made a picture for the words she is saying. Inspite of her nerves she persevered fervently, with eloquence. More over, the fact that Beyoncé STILL gets nervous, shows me she does not take anything for granted even with the greatest of successes and taught me I shouldn’t either. This was a powerful word but a more powerful delivery.
"A group that does not get to be center stage... BUILD YOUR OWN STAGE & MAKE THEM SEE YOU!" Powerful message! Don't wait for opportunities to be handed to you because they might not ever! Don't wait for approval! Know your worth, and create your own platform of excellence! Thank you so much and Much Love Beyonce! I am proud to be apart of the Class of 2020! Cheers to us! I will remember this🎓
Nah I needed this. I graduated in 2003 but we never stop graduating in life if we are growing do we? I saw her in NJ and I gotta say something has stirred in me. I love this and I appreciate her.
I'm the first in my family to get a college degree, I'm a minority and a woman. Due to the pandemic , I won't have a graduation ceremony but this speech was better and spoke to me more directly than any other could on an official event. I listened to Beyonce's songs when I felt overwhelmed on those long nights when had to study for exams after work. Thank you
My Queerness is Beautiful. My Blackness is beautiful. Lean into my vulnerability; let that vulnerability make you great; spread my masterful gift around the planet authentically. . . . . .Brilliance. I will never stop being me. Respect is EVERYTHING. To be validated by Queen Beyoncé........ #gratefulbeyond
11 months later i had to come back and to simply be reminded that I am brilliant and powerful i am. chyle i am about it, and we're investing in ourselves. BEYONCÉ I SEE YOU BOO❤❤❤❤
@@eye-leenlove Smh Bey haters love say anything, what is wrong about know the value of money?? and don't came with this shit about her and Jay, doesn't make any sense. Bye girl, go hate somewheres else...
Queen, as a euroasian female from south africa I cannot tell you how inspiring this is. I work a full time job, am studying 4 qualifications and look after my family - this speech is everything I needed to build myself this week. You are so wise and your words give me courage to take a folding chair when they don't give me a seat at the table! Thank you for your commitment to empowering others, you hit the nail on the head when you identified how the world will reject us and keep us from being more. I have goosebumps, struggle and a whole lot of determination! You are the wind under the capes of super women everywhere! Thank you president Obama for this initiative. Freedom is on the move, change is us💖
Losing can be the best motivator to get you even bigger wins. That is my favorite part. I feel like she’s being talking to me. THANKS QUEEN BEY!! There ain’t nobody like you.
I graduated in 2019. I always see videos of this moment, and I found myself rewatching this speech 2 years after i first tuned in. THIS is something that I needed to hear and I’m glad that Beyoncé was the one to give this commencement speech. Thank you, Mrs. Carter, for always staying true to you and chopping down the wood to build your own table. You said that if there are time that we are denied center stage, to build our own stage. THAT hit hard.
When Beyoncé said, ' be about that action + go do it. ' I felt that. It may seem crazy, but I feel like there's nothing I can't do now. Bey really be changing lives ❤
Naw.. you mean Lauryn hill is the voice to a generation, and Beyoncé is just a attention seeking copy cat of all the ones beforehand.. she ain’t saving nobody never mind a generation, she’s praising Obama who is a well known bill gates friend along with Jeffery Epstein . You need to look up #Obamagate #adrenochrom #Killerbillgates she’s up there doing her handlers evil works and all these people want to praise her.. I mean come on WAKE UP like NOW... she’s on the enemies side she don’t give a fuck about any of it , apart from spinning an agenda for political parties 🙄🤦🏻♀️
Katree T So when Beyoncé said don’t spend time writing out negativity online did you skip past that part or did you chose to ignore it, she’s standing up for the black community and she’s one of the most well known and powerful artists at least she’s using her platform for the better, you’ve chose to ruin a motivational speech for graduates just to have a political rant please re think before speaking harshly :)
You can see the sadness and the happiness and the anger she has bubbling inside her when she talks about each subject transcending in her eyes... although she comes from a very mainstreamed genre it is remarkable the effort she put towards hirings women and others to try to be inclusive with different talents and efforts she puts to give back valuable things to the people even with this very motivational and inspirational prep talks. Beyonce do have them balls to get things done
She’s so amazing! She’s the first celebrity I was obsessed with and the only celebrity I dreamed about so many times, including today! Haha she’s truly something else... out of the normal. A beautiful soul. Beyoncé ❤️🥰
@Frank Castle 🙄Here people come with this BS again. Y'all who believe this always make dumb statements and then when i ask for proff you don't have any.
Let's give us disabled people a chance too....I love this message. To be born disabled feels like you have been ignored and looked down upon all your life. I'm deaf/hard-of- hearing and the feeling of isolation and hatred has been something I'll forever be passionate about. 💞
