@Canyon Johnson, If I were you, I would appreciate a country song that actually has a deeper meaning other than just girls, beer and pickup trucks. She is not a country singer (I love country) but this song is INDEED a country song. And if you really think about it, this is a great way of involving Beyonce fans and other people to start listening to firstly Dixie Chicks and then to other country bands/singers. It is a great way to reach out to other people who don't normally listen to country music in general. And btw, who are we to draw a line in terms of who and what is country?

this song is really fantastic! when i heard it on the CMA'S I thought it was really good but admittedly I was more than a bit distracted by B's presence on stage that night OMG! did she not look stunning or what, I mean she always looks good she is a beautiful woman but that night I don't think I've ever seen a woman look that good. I dont see how any man could have taken his eyes off of her for a single second. I had to peel mine off the TV set! LOL!

EvaV. Um the majority of instruments in general have African origins. The majority of simple ideas came from Africa because that's where culture started and humans began to develop. Different types of music of have just popularized and fit the instruments to their needs and wants.
