It wasn't actually him tho. It was his record label that followed up the chart performances of both versions and saw this one was more demanded. So, for legal reasons, Beyoncé did not get the label's clearance to put this out as a single on its own, despite the fact that it got pretty much good airplay back in the day. It was a business decision. 50 Cent would bop to that version but his record label couldn't allow the outselling compared to his original version.
This takes me back. I recall hearing this on Music Choice R&B & Hip-Hop. And if I recall, they actually played a mashup remix version of both this and 50 Cent's version a few weeks later on there.
@@Cryinsidesmileout I’m not even a Beyoncé fan like that lol I just like this version of his song too, not more than his not less than his she did damn good
Destiny’s Child and 50 Cent actually collaborated: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fBjxuKL9Z3I.html He got dropped from Columbia Records after he got shot, so the song was never released.
Mna can’t believe she Beyoncé herself did official remix! But was taken down from all platforms n radios cuz 50cent fear it would do better then his version can believe he did that but it was his music 🎼 n cash 💵
@@ronnieedge2236That’s fear, he and his label feared his version would be forgotten and only this version would be remembered. Beyoncé outperforming those males and them getting threatened, queen, iconic behavior.
50 Cent's zodiac sign is Cancer (a water sign) and Beyoncé's zodiac sign is Virgo (an earth sign), so 50 Cent had no right to object to her version. In fact, he should have praised it.
It was a cover which she, nor her label ever sold. If anything, 50 Cent’s record label didn’t allow this version to become official because she was going to crush the original version in popularity and sales (she already was actually, her unofficial cover was having way more demand than their boy was, and they couldn’t stand it). 😂😂😂😂
This remix was trash, it should have been pulled just because it was TERRIBLE . And I am sure beyonce approved or disapproved when it came to someone else writing the lyrics but let’s be very clear, Dre and Eminem made sure that she didn’t just steal like she always does when it comes to many other artist, creatives and writers in this industry. The west coast was not about to let that happen so her team tried it. But they didn’t even try to be original or mix up the beat … who does a remix as a established performer and not first get the okay and have the actual artist the song represents on the track? Wild and insane. This was pure shade and I’m okay with that because it’s real but what I would not do is pretend like her version was good even for the early 2000’s just because it’s beyonce vocals on the track,no ma’am. I am glad they pulled this and if I were Beyoncé I would be mortified everytime I heard this record. As for 50ty? I now completely understand why he wasn’t wit the fakery on stage with her. For one, he didn’t have to and for second she did try to pull off on the plug and was not met with a lawsuit and or any violence because she was Beyoncé, she got off very easy so early into her solo career with these robberies. Only difference is you not about to pull off a robbery on Dr Dre and Eminem or their artist. Period.🤷🏽♀️
This remix was played constantly on the radio when it dropped, people still listen to it now, out here dropping essays on a remix that came out over a decade ago stop crying and let that shit go🤣
