Everyone used to hate on her so bad and hated how she was so confident which is ridiculous because if she was a man people would be clapping and proud of her. Now people love it and come to the realisation that a woman can be proud of herself and want to be at the top while being humble. Beyonce wouldn’t be beyonce without that fire in her belly and that sass or that mindset that she will be at the top, like she said she’s talented and with that talent she rode to the absolute top. There are so much men who have this mindset and are constantly rewarded with praise for this attitude and are even rude sometimes. Look like at Jay-Z nearly every song he has is talking about how he’s a big deal and he gets everything. Or Kanye who’s known for his ego and people absolutely loved him for it. Also I gotta give Matthew his props he made destiny’s child think like adults about their business from a young age. He made sure they understood it’s a dog eat dog world and they had to be beasts in everything they did. He made sure they saw the goal and didn’t look anywhere else, he’s the reason why they didn’t become wild teenagers who lost their mind when they saw a-bit of money or fame.

She's always hated interview but at the earlier stages of her career she had to do them! No way around it. But even during those interviews she was still very private like her and Jay Z openly talked about their relationship years after starting dating. Now she paid her dues and stopped talking to the press altogether. She releases her stuff and go live her life very privately.

The order is Beyonce, Solange (who was coming out with a record and movie), Tina (to jump in and help control the interview), Kelly (cause she's beyonce's sista- but can't sit with her and solange), and Matthew (to monitor everyone). Oh gosh! I was just 8 and It was my very first time visiting the US with my parents in early July 2003 when I first saw this on TV☝🏼🙌🏼 Ever since then we all became witnesses to what Beyonce became and how her true excellence emerged. But I definitely one of those who separates those Destiny’s Child and early Beyoncé’s solo years from what she started to approach with the release of the great masterpiece which was the “4”. So I appreciate Matthew as the man who guided Beyoncé through those early years, but I definitely love the freedom and risks that Beyoncé started to take after her split with Matthew-the producer way more. But the nostalgic feeling that I’m getting watching this old footage is very sweet is absolutely precious🤗
