I was on a flight with Spike Lee from Puerto Rico to NY last year and he was in a middle seat in coach with the rest of us...and I respect him for that.

I LOVE cooking for my guy . I take a lot of pride in going a little extra to make it a special experience. It also gives me an excuse to get out the good candles and turn the lights off. Eating meals together is intimate to me. We end up having the BEST conversations. Everyone wins❤️‍🔥

I have a HUGE issue with adults allowing children to have alcohol regardless of their culture, public, privacy of their own home, etc......WHY...because we need to let children be children! She was late (1 hr 5 min) when she performed in Tennessee. She also had sound checks problems at this concert. A number of other concert goers in other cities said that they experienced tardy and sound issues. Now I am beginning to wonder if these problems are a built - in part of her act. Weird to keep seeing the same problems repeat themselves.

This is the time of year to say Happy Holidays since there are so many coing up. Hence, the Holiday season!

I was 2nd row at the Anita Baker concert in Memphis (November 22) & I was highly disappointed. 😒😞 She was 1 1/2 hours late & didn't have an opening act - they just played her Greatest Hits CD on repeat. And she had "sound" issues during our show as well. She asked the audience for a 5 minute break, to get the problems resolved. She was gone for 30 minutes. 🤦🏾‍♀️ And if you go to Ticketmaster you'll see ALL of the reviews (for her show) are nearly the same. This isn't an isolated experience. For $500+ a seat, I expected WAY BETTER. EDIT: I forgot to add, when she finally came on stage it looked as if she just woke up. No makeup on, wearing her Sunday cooking wig. It just wasn't a good look. I expected auntie to show up & show out. With that said, her 65 year old body was BODYING!!! 🫶🏾🥰🙌🏾

I LOVE FUNKY! One of the best episodes ever. FUNKY’s analysis hit the HEAD ON THE NAIL on just about everything. He delivered on so much to where I was thinking the same thing, “ Don’t let that White man embarrass you.” “Everything on that child protective services list momma met.
