every time there's a lot of writers in beyoncé's music, it's because theres things like samples etc and she's giving the credits, so the writers of these songs are also there it's like good for you by olivia rodrigo whos now has josh farro and hayley williams as writers bc theres a misery business sample in the song
jay z actually did and album that kinds of goes together with this, is called 4:44, and they did and album together as The Carters called EVERYTHING IS LOVE that is kind of them closing this chapter of their life and finding themselves as a couple, is kind of a trilogy
YES! loved it! lemonade is such a rollercoaster of emotions, and every single song here is so big in its own way. such a powerful album! bey here really made impact, i remember when it got out i was just OBSESSED. dont hurt yourself always makes me spechless about how bey can get beyond everything. the rage in here is beyond too, everything! also, i love all night so much but it gives me the same feeling you had on it. its a beautiful song and all but the meaning in here its a bit upset, but i think it brings such feeling because here we feel all the downfall from the sad to madness to getting over... and what about daddy lessons!!!!!! every song here is such an anthem, and i think you should DEFINITELY react to the videos! it is like a movie for the album, it would be interesting to see you reacting because you are such an amazing reacter and singer! anyway, i loved it, and im glad for u to be seeing this! 💗 xoxo from a brazil fan of yours!
The long list of writers on the album is because of samples and interpolations. Hold up for example has 3 samples, hence the longer credit :) Oh and yes they did break up but got back together around 2014. They’ve spoken about it in their collaborative album Everything Is Love.
btw, what you said about it feeling like she wrote the songs as she was going through the process herself of feeling her emotions is spot on. When you watch the film that accompanies this album it will be a lot clearer that she took us thru the 5 stages of grief and then some
This is my favorite Beyoncé album and, in my opinion, the quintessential concept album. Also, Lemonade by Beyoncé, 4:44 by Jay-Z, and Everything is Love by The Carters is a trilogy of albums that detail how they healed and eventually came back stronger than ever. A true power couple.
It's her most experimental album! I love Sorry, Don't Hurt Yourself, All Night, 6 Inch (...always comeback to MEEEEEEEEEEEEE.) (I love this high note hehe) 💖
The little role play you did of her telling him she’s writing the album and him just saying okayyyyy and sucking it up is EXACTLY how I imagined it too 😂🤣😭
I love lyric analysis. I really listen to the words in a song and interrupting their meaning. I’m ok with her consulting and writing with others. It adds to the richness of her music.
As a lifelong Beyoncé (and Destiny's Child) STAN, but also someone who plays an instrument and appreciates musicality, I want to say to you how much I loved and enjoyed your reaction. I loved seeing you catch the samples and the influences of the songwriters, and I loved even more your connection to how the choices Beyoncé made with them reflect the story and emotion they wanted to tell. This has truly been one of my very favorite reactions of all time. ❤
Loved the reaction. This album for her was her truth and Jay Z actually release an album called 444. This album was basically him admitting his mistakes and taking accountability. They after they both released there truths they released a con-joined album together called Everything Is Love.
I think the song you heard that you thought was "Formation" was actually "No Angel" which is from her self-titled album "Beyonce". Well, based on the sound that you made with your voice, that's what I got at least lol
I’ve fallen in love with your channel! Your deep understanding of every album that you listen to is so refreshing!! I really think you should do a deep dive into Jessie Reyez! Her sound is so unique and her lyrics are poetic. I think you’d find her just as special as her other fans!
Ooh I love lyric analysis! Maybe a good start for that could be to begin it for patrons and maybe you could prep and then live-stream it to discuss with the audience? That way it's still about the music but also inherently interactive and can be a great added perk within the patreon itself but also be less dependent on the algorithm? Beyoncé definitely has full creative control over her later albums as well as tours. Everything has her seal of approval. The woman is an absolute business unit.
I really enjoy your lyrical analysis. Songs that contain samples or interpolations often have many writers listed because the original writers much be credited. It’s not like 15 people got together and wrote the song.
If your wondering, I’m pretty sure the song you heard you thought was Formation is ‘No Angel’ from her self-titled album, when you sing it in 57:45. Great reaction! ❤
fern girl I know probably ur full of requests but if u could please react to trinity by eartheater and serotonin ii by yeule it would be so cool tysm for always being so entertaining your videos always lift up my mood love yaa
i love your reactions!! pls react to aurora a potion for love(studio version) what was out in the plataforms of music with the live perfomace of vevo in her channel!!
Kendrick Lamar is the greatest musical artist of the last 10-12 years imo. Definitely his albums are worth listens and deep dives. Like.... Yeah, like all of them. He doesn't miss. Feels like a ojce in a lifetime kind of artist, it's actually ridiculous lol. Start with Good Kid maad City and go in order. You won't regret
Sorry. This is impossible for me to watch. All the cutting makes me unwell. Not your fault Fern, I'm guessing ;) Anyway, I really don't like Beyoncè. I think she is emblematic of the problem with music in the last ten, fifteen years. Overproduction. You can hear that all of this is coming from the same place. There are producers, no sorry, Mega Producers of music. And they do pretty much everything of new music. And they know, down to a tee, what works to sell to the masses. They will try to "mix" it up, but they can't help themselves. Its the frog and the scorpion. They can't help them self. Don't mind me, but I think this is boring music cos I have heard it all before.
