Then came Ariana, with songs like "God is a Woman," and JLo with "I Ain't Your Mother", most recently Miley Cyrus with her "Flowers"...However, Beyoncé laid the foundation for this movement and demonstrated how powerful her songs have been and continue to be. She really mentally empowered women like any other woman in history, I believe.
