For me it’s more Bey’s creative evolution and intention. Beyoncé, Lemonade, Renaissance and Cowboy Carter all come after her massive singles run from the late 90s - 00’s. It’s actually impressive to have both, singles and conceptual albums. Love to Usher - it’s just different, especially when you look at their most recent outputs. Bey is very much still going, creating excellent bodies of work to the level that she has 27 years into her career is a feat. Again, love to Usher - he’s absolutely a legend.
