I agree with his selection of Bodyguard, that's one of my favorites as well, along with Protector (all mothers will relate), Daughter (the dramatic operatic vocals are amazing), Jolene (love how she changed up the lyrics to make it her own and added the male chorus at the end, but mainly stayed true to the original). So many more favorites, the entire album is a masterpiece!

Beyoncé’s ability to create and curate is indeed genius. It’s wild to me that people want to discredit her just because she has a team. Y’all don’t do this with Christopher Nolan. It’s still HER. If she’s “just the singer” then point me to other people that have created like she has on the scale. If it was so easy we’d have a ton of Beyonces. But we don’t, we have a lot of safe artists that rarely switch anything up. It’s her vision. Period.

I love that Jay stood up for Bey at the Grammys, but I wish he hadn't said anything. WHEN this album wins AOTY, her naysayers will attribute it to his "whining" (aka - the truth). This album is a masterpiece, and it deserves to stand on its own and be recognized as such. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, does what Beyonce does at the level that she does it. Her only "crime" is being a Black woman. She deserves every accolade and thensome.

The only thing missing from this compilation of classic excellent music is a duet with Beyonce and Lauryn Hill going really deep folk music rootsie you feel me that is the only thing missing I think they could have really been like a slave narrative that we typically connect with gospel but if it was done in a way where the connectivity of folk music via storytelling comes very deep but there's always the next time and anything typically I'm a fan of no one but anything that Beyonce pulls together it's done especially over the duration that she's been in the industry with well thought out actions a manifestations so it is definitely a celebration on so many levels

Indeed the Miley Cyrus and Beyonce do it is one of the best of a spectacular collection of music that Beyonce has done. Not only does it cross generations and is so cool there's this homage to if everyone hears it Stevie nicks and folk music I think what individuals forget is that country has several aspects to it there is bluegrass there is folk there is Appalachian music there is hoedown music where someone is calling out dance moves you know there's so many aspects the country and to me she epitomizes all of those aspects giving history lessons intergenerational connection and just giving us feel good on so many levels and this young lady in this interview is hitting it on the mark with how she describes what nuances are coming out of this beautiful musical copulation and history lesson
