Whats meant by "overdone" when it comes to singing ?!?!? Its an expression of the performers' emotion. How they're feeling at that time. "Overdone" if mentioned enough actually becomes an inhibitor. The greatest enemy of ALL artists.

@@danielordonez4308 i believe because she's naturally very agile..and coz she keeps on practicing and using that agility. Some people aren't so agile and even if they train their agility and become better at it, they still won't be on the same level as people who are naturally super agile..
simon was never qualified to be a judge for singing competition, he was a producer for tv shows, get popular and managed to stay relevant at that time through criticising contestants
I look at it as a good thing honestly. Part of me feels like he knew how good she was, and didn’t want her to go through with the show. She would have lost a lot of musical control if she would have won. Artists have a lot of their own power taken away when they sign contracts like that. 🙏🏼 it all worked out

I've never heard a single song of her, just googled she is a Grammy winner artist and i can't deny that. I've never seen anyone nailed every single note that good on this particular song. Wow RU-vid recommendation doesn't always suck
To be honest I can see what Simon means. You cannot listen to Tori's voice over a long period, it's a very shouty/screechy and high pitched, hurts your ears. She is good to listen to every now and then.
@@jahanghir528 hahaha I'm here literally listening her everyday for more than an hour. The thing is that, you didn't like her high notes which I agree, it may sound screechy sometimes. It is because she tend to close and tighten her larynx above Eb5. Although, her high notes are not entirely screechy. You can find tons of videos of her live that does showcase a healthier approach in her upper belts. Also, her songs does not always feature her upper belts, there are a lot of relaxed songs from her. One more thing, the audio quality of IG Live is awful in which Tori sounded more screech-ier. She isn't as screechy as you may think.

Ikr. Tori's range is actually quite small compared to most singers who have similar vocal abilities (her range is C3-Bb5-F6-Bb6, 3 octaves and 5 notes). But that doesn't stop her from being as good as, or even better than these singers!
@@varunravi27 That is not a small range 😭😭 2 is average in people, she’s almost at 4 and sounds incredible throughout it all! An achievement. Also sure she can whistle into the 7th octave just doesn’t put it into her songs for obvious reasons.
