The weird thing about Radiator springs racers is we're getting a clone of a clone while the orignal attraction is still in EPCOT. It would be like if they decided to clone Mission Breakout in EPCOT while keeping Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios. It's redundant
Nope not weird at all.. they've already done that with Soarin and Flight of Passage. Then Mickey's Runaway Railway, Rise of the Resistance and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure (WDW) and no one has complained about that.
100 percent. Certain attractions is what makes certain Disney parks unique. Its a terrible idea that shows Disney is no longer at the forefront when it comes to Imagineering.
Yes very true, however they are already putting Indiana Jones at Animal Kingdom which is a clone, even though they are saying it won't be exactly the same.
Thats a good point but the problem is that the Magic kingdom desperately needs new attractions from the last time i was there witch is why Disney even wants to do beyond Big Thunder to begin with and Radiator springs racers would be a immediate headliner attraction that’s why i personally really like the idea. Maybe Disney could make the Disney world version different from the DCA version to make it more original even make it more original than Test track!

If they were to fill in the Rivers of America it shows us all that Disney and the Imagineers are really just Philistine's. I know that there are people out there who want a Villians Land. What would it end up being an evil Fantasyland? Surely the new "Tangled" spinner ride being built at Paris Disneyland will be rethemed to a "Coco" attraction at Animal Kingdom. So far the whole thing has given me indigestion. I need a lot more Yunjin to keep me calm. Cheers, Chris Perry.
Thank you Sir OG and Sir George for a fair analysis and own appreciation to the parks being yet open especially to there are some visitors that wouldn't possibly able to travel to both coasts. Whatever Disney decides to do it would be best not to replace or remove anything from classic Walt like Frontierland.
I hope this is fake, if true tho, this shows Disney is focusing too much on big franchises that could potentially over saturate the parks. Tony already had an idea for what’s beyond BTM: Discovery bay
Enough with the Toy Story! It has an entire land and as well as an existing ride in the same park.. I would just go all in on Villains maybe change the theme to a general dark world. Have elements of all of Disney’s dark ips and characters.
Cars Racer will just ruin the cohesiveness of "Magic Kingdom". Woody's attraction should be used in the Frontierland's shooting gallery instead of turning it into DVC lounge. Ugh!!!! 🤦🏻♂️ I'm still surprised Coco hasn't been seriously considered in Mexico pavilion. 🙄
Could not agree any more with both your takes on this video. You guys should rewatch Jack's DSNY Newcast from a year ago, Magic Kingdom's "Beyond Big Thunder" EXPANSION Plans - Disney News Explained. He talks about a flight of passage based Coco ride that would be so awesome. He also perfectly describes the Rivers of America downsizing similar to how George describe. Which I believe is way more likely.
What if it’s a facade like cars land but it’s actually western river expedition? Villans will have a “mountain” so they can go back to being a 3 mountain park.
I don't buy that "Frontierland" is going away.... the poster for Tiana's adventure lists Frontierland, they didn't need to include that on that poster if it's leaving the mapped lands. I think they should just retheme Pecos to Tianas but not rename the land. I wouldn't mind a small Woody western thing but not Cars land back there (or if they do, give us all of it). But I'd love to see all of Beyond Big Thunder be VILLIANS. Save the Liberty Belle & put Louis & Ray on there (that revitalizes it's popularity)

I really don’t like the idea of filling-in ROA in Magic Kingdom, and replicating RSR there too (which has the same ride system a monorail loop away!). Also, way too much Toy Story
Mickey's Runaway Railway is next door away from Rise of the Resistance both coasts and mile away from Remy's Ratatouille Adventure talk about same ride system but three popular different experiences.
I like yalls idea with Jafar an the transition from the west into villains...my personal opinion it should still be it's own park....make it just like the magic kingdom but for the villains...your main street could be a nightmare before Xmas style an if you did it like that you have a way to decorate for Halloween an Xmas... it could be a new place for after hours parties...could have adventure land could have something with Jafar an the e ticket could be the emperor new grove coaster with ezma an krok...pull the lever krok...fantasy land you could rebuild snow whites scary adventure, mr. Toads..an instead of Cinderella castle...do maleficents castle with the dragon under the castle like in Paris ...I would love to see a Ursula coaster with flotsam and jetsums as the coaster an it's going threw Ursula song an spell
Villains belong in MK, maybe something along the lines on the Descendants Villain Island. The Scar idea is brilliant or even Jaffar on the desert. I’m disappointed Zootopia is not going to AK
Btw while i love the land fade into galaxys edge i think it works well as frontierland without any attractions, but seehling how not crowded and arguably unnecessary having both of those entrances is, I miss the goats! Bring back the goats near the fronteirland entrance / that giant hill behind rivers of america. Heck, put the petting zoo on tom sawyer island!!
7:33 it would be great to see a SEA inspired part of Frontierland around Big Thunder instead, like inspired by the story of Barnabas T. Bullion (the Thunder Mountain guy inspired by Tony Baxter).
Thank you for saying that because 30% of people that go to Disneyland in Anaheim or Mexican American and that is a big chunk if they were to stop going. They need to put Coco a Darkride in Disneyland Anaheim to honor the people that go there. California has now a minority of Mexicans, in the state of California and Disney things putting dark rides like Encanto, which is Colombian and other things should satisfy the Mexican population and it’s not.
I have mixed feelings, I know Cars is a huge franchise but it is not one that really managed to interest me. I am more interested by the villains stuff. But to be honest I would really rather see them a completely different direction for Beyond Big Thunder.
If they were to do the villains ride, then the lack of engineering, thinking what caused it to have a raid like the swingers, shooting at the villains, and the E ride supposedly being like that type of thing they want to put a California adventures, a ride and marvels land. I don’t see any E or D write being a genuine or unique because these Imaginaires, don’t have creative thinking beyond those type of rides.
I used to think magic kingdom was an improved upon disneyland but im so used to disneyland at this point, and its lands are so much better themed. The attraction lineup is way stronger. Magic kingdom is turning into a sub par park. Their fantasyland is junk. Disneyland does every land better except for tomorrowland
Villains, beauty and the beast dark ride, and/or some elements from fantasy springs like peter pan and tangled would be perfect. Bringing radiator springs racers in from California adventure robs that park of its only selling point, and really would feel odd. Having modern cars zipping around past big thunder. And im sorry radiator springs racers is not that great. The ride looks good from the outside but the dark ride itself is nothing specialThe area thematically connected by desert but nothing else. No longer period specific. And if they get rid of rivers of america, another huge mistake.makes the west side of the park placeless. You need the river to bring realism and good atmosphere and sightlines and help orient you. Putting a woody meet and greet on the island is one thing but wrecking the fort or the river altogether is another. Villains and fantasy springs for the magic kingdom parks. Maybe the ship has sailed ona. Western river expedition/non ip western attraction unless disney whips up a new IP to support that. Meanwhile, a coco dark ride for dca would be perfect. Coco, zootopia, avengers, and pandora. Four very different IPs. Would be a home run decade and the park would become one of the best in the chain. Coco, inside out, encanto, zootopia, so many of these ips coukd have dark rides but picking coco and zootopia would be good because they are so opposite of one another.
