I played the game and I don't agree. Because there was a reason I played the first game and this game, with the limited intel we have, seems nothing like the first one, so why be excited?
Since this game is supposed to be a prequel, I'm guessing Jade might start off as a villain, but will become rhe character we all know and love by the end.
Can't remember the last time a trailer got me deeply interested not only in the characters, but in the world as well. Will have to play the original ASAP.
No Man Sky was made by a team of less then 5 people, think it was 1-3 tbh. BG&E2 is definitely not gonna be a NMS. People just love to over hype games, just take all of the videos with a grain of salt and BG&E2 will be everything we hope.
The game's a prequel. So whatever happens in this game, in the end we all know she's gonna retire in a lighthouse with a bunch of kids and be super good.
otakon17 I'm pretty sure as well but it's still disheartening to witness...plus why was her name called out at all if this happens before the start of the actual game? How would they of known her unless Jade has a more infamous reputation?
xxChainingHeartsxx Good point, but we just don't know enough yet to make any conclusions. Especially since those two guards with her looked like Alpha Sections and they were all but eliminated at the end of the last game.
Damn!!! Even though I've never played the original "Beyond Good & Evil", I'm intrigued by this trailer. Gonna have to check out the original game sometime.
cgmaster2 precisely, also if you look at their website you can see peyj with a hook for a hand, since his hand from the first game was infected, they chopped it off, I'm starting to think this game might not be a prequel.
nobody survives even one bit Jade was main character from.the last game which came on 2002 She saved a world and now it's look like she is the villain in this game
Deliteren- its all a bit odd considering the developer said last week in a video it was a prequel and the timeline for Jade doesn't make match. They have now made us question it even more, do people not age in this game? What is the real time line? Why does Jade appear to be bad?
waiting for the day when pre order appears q-q its been 10 years since it was announced q-q after they make n2 they should at least allow people to play the first bge on ps4/xbo
Looks amazing but as a prequel it also looks like they left it so long that they forgot everything from the original game, It really doesn't seem very Beyond good and evil-y but it still looks good, even if it looks like its made by people (LOOKS like not is) who didn't play the original game.
The creative director that worked on the original game is working on this one too. I’ve read and watched enough information to know that they definitely didn’t forget the things about Beyond Good and Evil 1.
I was going to complain about how this game is not realistic because of the way gravity seems to behave in mimicking that of planet earth -- even though the characters are in deep space. However, after coming to the realization that this will be a game with talking pigs and talking monkeys, and edgy teenage samurai space pirates -- I now consider it a moot point.
Game looks great! Go to check it out, and find that Ubisoft account support is still absolute shit. First, to change my password, they wanted me to log in. Umm.. Then, I find they have two reset password links in their email. The other "works". Quotation marks because after you change your password, the new password doesn't work. Still this bad, Ubisoft? Still?!
