Beyond Good and Evil 2 - The Impossible Game To Make 

I would argue that the reason Jade was such an amazing character was specifically because she was NOT a badass. She was more like Samwise Gamgie from Lord of the rings. She was vulnerable person who only desired a peaceful life. But when duty called, she did not back away, but did what needed to be done to protect the people and place she loved.

Another idea I had was peyj and jade being on the run from the alpha sections or just dealing with the consequences of exposing the truth of government corruption while also finding a cure for domz corruption. I agree with you though I saw the trailer and even though I hadn’t finished beyond good and evil yet I said “this doesn’t look familiar or like bg&e at all.” It just looked like a typical Microsoft space game when people were asking for beyond good and evil. It’s like the franchise only in name. I feel like it’s going to focus more on making a big world than giving people the story they’ve asked for. I wanted the original story Ancel was envisioning in the cliffhanger of the first game. I’m going into it with a cautious curiosity but not really excited. My issue is where is all of the focus of this development time going. Are they getting too ambitious when people simply wanted more of what they fell in love with? It’s 17 years worth of expectations to deliver on and I hope they stick the landing.

TRUTHFULLY I agree we need more new IP's in the AAA landscape.
