This is the story of a woman who loses her fiancé in an accident and the man whose life he saved - a beautiful yet heartbreaking romance about two people at the mercy of fate that begins with a bittersweet "goodbye."
Saeko (Kasumi Arimura) loses the love of her life Yusuke (Toma Ikuta) when he dies in an accident on the same day he proposed to her. Later, a man named Naruse (Kentaro Sakaguchi) gets a new lease on life after receiving Yusuke's heart in a transplant operation, all while his wife Miki (Yuri Nakamura) stands steadfast by his side. These two couples, who under any other circumstances would have lived completely separate lives, become intertwined by a strange fate. As if drawn together by some hidden force, Saeko eventually encounters Naruse, who gradually begins to feel Yusuke's memories awaken inside him.
The inevitable, heartrending goodbye with one's beloved is a universal human experience. This is a series, though, not a movie. Better to be underrated than be overrated. Besides, Japanese works are mostly underrated in the Philippines because most people here only limit themselves to just Korean dramas (most probably don't even watch Korean films), like seriously, at least broaden your preferences. And someone who can only comment about views has nothing else significant to say and doesn't know how to recognize creativity and imaginative qualities not only in Japanese films, drama series, but just about all kinds of creative work. Also, it's not like this is the only Netflix account on RU-vid for you to be commenting on views. It's posted in every Netflix RU-vid account (except Netflix anime of course) in many different countries, okay. This person can comment on views, but can't even recognize an actor who also appears in a currently airing Korean-Japanese drama collaboration. Even if you don't know Kentaro or you don't watch Japanese at all, a person with basic common sense and discerning skills should be able to recognize he's the same person because it's so obvious. So silly, shallow and funny.

So happy to see Kentaro and Kasumi in a project again, plus the addition of Toma Ikuta, who I haven't seen in a long while. 🫶 And of course, the choice of Kenshi Yonezu's Azalea as the main theme for the series sums up the perfection of this. The cinematography is top notch, the scenes are so beautifully shot. Kentaro, one of my fave Japanese actors with a song from Kenshi Yonezu, one of my fave musicians, is simply absolute. 🥹

@@casandraogoe8394 I watched the trailer. And from what I could gather, the guy had a bad heart. He and his girlfriend got into a bad accident, and he got a heart transplant. It appeared the heart came from his girlfriend. Then he started having feelings for another girl, but he thought his girlfriend's heart was doing it, and not his own head. So seems like a bi-sexual love triangle of sorts to me.

@@randomman4938 You got it all wrong. There's no bisexual theme here and it's not the girl's heart that got transplanted to Kentaro's character, the guy who has a heart condition. Saeko (Kasumi, the girl you see first in the trailer) survived the accident. It's Yusuke's (Toma Ikuta) heart, who is Saeko's (Kasumi) boyfriend, that got transplanted to Kentaro because he has a heart condition and only has weeks to live. Saeko is not Kentaro's girlfriend. Kasumi's character, Saeko, is the girlfriend of Yusuke (Toma Ikuta) who died in that bus accident. It's not weird because heart transplant is something that happens in real life, you know. A Korean drama titled Endless Love: Summer Scent (2003) has a similar plot, but in this, it's the girl's (Song Seung-heon's character's girlfriend) heart getting transplanted to Son Ye-jin's character.
