You know... a lot of people who "draw on the power of blah dimension" never really stop and inspect what sort of effect taking energy from one place and putting it into our dimension. Since we know energy can not be created or destroyed what happens when you drain it from a place and energize another. I believe this would require an in-depth look.
Thanks so much for covering my favorite childhood superhero! He's been even more augmented than you mentioned. He's an embodiment of "anomaly". He's possessed the starbrand when he brought it into the marvel universe proper. He's even had cosmic awareness and bonded with infinity!
When I learned that he locked up God ....... I was done please cover this man ! Different system than everybody else or was it about his luck..... And Lucifer Morningstar said the same thing
What if House of M Scarlet Witch became a Red Lantern? What if the Punisher became Spawn? What if Ra's Al Ghul possessed the Mandarin's ten Rings? What if Tony Stark had the Sage Force? What if Luke Skywalker became a Blue or Green Lantern?
@corujariousa, if anything, Quasar resembles the Sinestro Corps. Quasar with the Quantum Bands can create light (yellow, not green) constructs. Also, the QBs has 14 gems (7 gems on each of the bands).
Quasar didn't become a main player until his own book in the '80s. Kind of late for Marvel. His enduring quality is having such power at hand but doubting his abilities until pushed. The most down to earth hero while being cosmic. No other character captured depression and overcoming it like Quasar.
Thank you for giving a shoutout to Quasar Rob! He is one of those awesome characters that doesn’t get much love from Marvel now. I wish they would bring him back. He is tied to so many cosmic characters like Silver Surfer, the Nova Corps, the Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. that they should bring him back in a big way. Love this character!

We haven't seen what the children of eternity are really capable of though we do know they are extremely powerful character's that reside within The realm of TOAA
I remember having several copies of the Quasar comics when it originally came out. I liked the character, the artifact quantum bands and the cosmic stories. However, as powerful the quantum bands for Quasar the comic didn't last as long as other mainstay characters or cosmic characters that was entangled in Cosmic affairs in the Marvel Universe.
Very impressive feats Quasar is actually one of the coolest characters in Marvel. He/she deserves more love.. Rachel is the weakest Phoenix and didn't even know how to use the power of the Phoenix Force, she was inexperienced. Even tho absorbing a blast from a Phoenix host is absolutely impressive, it doesnt mean the same its the Phoenix Force itself
@superboy prime and now u r just being a dick... lesbians r human beings too and if u have a problem with their sexuality, stay home. The world isn't made for people like u only. What a disappointment comment that was.
@superboy prime u said u don't care yet u do say harmful and disgraceful things. As a racist if they r racists and they will tell u no. Pls, don't try it..
Princess_Fiona He has a point. Many characters are made just for the sake of ticking a box and saying “look how progressive and inclusive we are”. They often make the fact that a character is a minority (be it race, sexuality or gender) the only thing that defines them. Which is such a backwards way of thinking, as if our sexuality or race is the only thing important about us. Just because you complain about this doesn’t mean you hate minorities. For example: Sam Wilson, the Falcon is a great character who we have been on a long journey with and it felt right when he became Captain America. Fans love him. Riri Williams as Iron heart, on the hand, came out of nowhere and was literally written to replace Tony Stark in the most contrived and forced way... she is the definition of a tokenised character made to tick a diversity quota. She is so poorly written and most fans hate her. The New Warriors is similarly made in a desperate attempt to appeal to modern audiences by making their characters “diverse” but it just sucks ass. Lol
Loved the video I didn't know how powerful he was. And he's one of the weaker members of the Annihilators or it at least seems like it. Rob you should do a what if video.... The Annihilators vs The Justice League.
Actually the ability of the quantum bands to absorb energy and access the energy from the quantum zone was once interrupted when Quasar was transported to another dimension where he received the the star brand. Whatever energy he had at that point in his comic series was limited to what the quantum bands had stored before he was transported to this alternate dimension. He needed to use the star brand "gift" to transport himself back to his universe whereby his quantum bands can again access the energies from the quantum zone. You also neglected to mention that Quasar was the "chosen" of the cosmic entity - Infinity, and he battled Maelstorm who was then the chosen of Oblivion. Anyways, its great to see one of my favourite characters covered by Comics Explained. I hope there will be more to come. :)

You know Rob I don't know if you were nervous or what but there definitely seems to be a shift in your speech since a year or so ago. You sound a lot happier and more into what you do. Hope I'm right man.
@CHEESE BURGER FREDDY lol, I've seen another dude saying Trigon solos Marvel, due to Trigon fought a Presence lvl being, also he says Trigon is "High Outerversal" like wtf are those buzzwords?
@@gojiradude4630 Yeah they usually use ABC logic when they "scale" Trigon has never fought anyone on the presence's level, And word's like "Outerversal or Hyperversal" are made up threat levels that neither DC or Marvel use, Ask any on of them to show DC or Marvel using that term as threat level and they always avoid the question or try convincing you that it's legit Lols
Hey Rob, I really like your latest way of voice over. It sounds more like you are just talking to us instead of giving a lecture. Sorry for bad English.
i'd still like an in depth break down of all the marvel universe empire's, and groups. how did the shi'arr empire form? what caused the creation of different mega groups out there?
@@TheChillzoneX No problem. I forgot to mentioned that Captain Marvel wields the Nega-Bands. The Nega-Bands were created by the Supreme Intelligence of the Kree. The NBs are loosely based on the Quantum Bands, using the forces of the Negative Zone and CM's psionic energies. NBs (Negative Zone) & QBs (Quantum Zone).
The Quantum Bands are so powerful that in the 31st century, The Silver Surfer (then known as The Keeper) has them and uses them to keep Galactus constantly fed!
QUASAR! One of my favorites. Criminally underused, and I was *pissed* when they killed off the Avril Kincaid version. Particularly because they introduced her _specifically_ to kill her during Secret Empire.
Great video dude I was waiting for someone on RU-vid to talk about Quasar. Also have you ever looked into Michael Demiurgos, Lucifer Morningstars brother
Also rob.... What about a series on how powers work... How does magneto's magnetism works.... What's the theory on how telekinesis works? How does one effect matter to manipulate it? How does blob have is own gravitation field? As ko g as its Canon to the comics and other forms of media
Rob was one of the first RU-vidrs inducted into the hall of ".75 Play Speed" It's funny because one night I bumped him down to .50 on one of his longer vids that's a compilation of several of his vids. And since Rob goes from talking hyper fast in some videos to super relax and chill in some videos, those sounded HILARIOUS like he was stoned out of his gourde rambling nonstop 😂 all slow mo, "and so like, superman would show up and be like, UGH "Whaaaaaa?" Like, I'm sorry you're done, like, boom, the entire universe just, boom, ya done, oh mayyyyynnnn" 😂🤣😂
Thanks alot Rob. Yeah, Wendell get's hardly any respect when he could be up there with any top tier character. He's another one I was like " where the hell was this character?" during the Infinity storyline.
@@bricksonyourhead8245 Those Annihilators are not from the Prime MARVEL Universe/Earth-616 (mainsteam continuity) they are from Earth-19141 (alternate reality). Even if those Annihilators are equal to their Earth-616 counterparts, Thanos bested them because they did not engaged him simultaneously. Also, it was Adam Warlock that bested Quasar & Silver Surfer.
We need a theoretical battle to see who is the strongest person of all the characters who "can tap or harness the energy from another zone, dimension, universe". People like Vulcan, blue marvel, quasar, etc. Which power is the greatest to use?
@@210SAi Darkhawk? Last I saw of him, unless he's appeared in a book i never saw, was during/after the new volume of Guardians of the Galaxy...got sucked into a black hole with the rest...emerged in some freaky place but he like age 8-10 and he was wearing the armor like an Iron Man suit. It was weird they don't know what to do with him even after his reboot to make him a "cosmic" character which i liked. sigh
@@210SAi Quasar was caught up in that whole Guardians of the Galaxy/Heir of Thanos thing as well...all the major "cosmic" characters were there...Guardians of the Galaxy Annual Vol 3 #1
