I don’t even have words to describe how gorgeous this house is .This truly is my favorite house that I remember seeing.Detail beyond……..So much talent in Blacksburg,I am very impressed . She needs to do a Book.!!! Thank you 💙🍃🌿
Excuse me while I pick my jaw off the floor! Where has this woman been my whole life? Why have I never heard of her? How is she able to make "Traditional" not look traditional and stuffy? How is she making all these different materials work together? I have so many questions 🤪My eyes can't keep up and my mind is boggled at every turn. An upholstered door....ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME!?!? 🤯 Chrome and glass cabinets...and did ya'll see she used acrylic support brackets in lieu of those hideous wood ones? And finally, please raise your hand if you have EVER seen those blue/white vases look so stylish...especially in such abundance? Yessss...she said what the bedroom floors were...tytytyty!!! Does this woman have a book? I'm gonna need them to photograph every room in this house so I can take my time and see everything 🥰🥰
I've heard many designers saying, if you want your home to look expensive, go neutral. I've never agreed with that statement. However, now I know exactly how to respond to that statement. EDITH-ANNE DUNCAN, Phenomenal designer!🎉🎉🎉
I'm in awe to a point that my speechlessness led me to look for a comment which captures my sentiment. Thank you Sharon! This indeed is a masterpiece. Thank you Edith-Anne Duncan!
Leave it to the Potted Boxwood,to make you cry at such Beauty and energy. This woman should be given a Oscar for for her style and beauty, looking at her you knew this would be a Gorgeous Video, give her a standing ovation!
When you say attention to detail-that is an understatement in this case. She is really really confident in her aesthetic and work and so very pleased you noticed. Edith Anne...WE ALL NOTICED! How many square feet is this house? LOVE so much I will list just a few...custom rugs, the cabinetry to hold your silver, china, etc, the cabinet in the work studio/entertaining/dinning room...just brilliant use of a space. The colors, the laquers, the trays, chinoiserie, monograms, light fixtures OH MY! I'm re-watching this. It's Mothers Day! My girls are in college and grad school and we will be reunited soon - so today, I'm in bed, hubs brought mimosa and croque madam to me and I get to be lazy and enjoy all of this eye candy! Thank you both!
Edith-Anne Duncan’s home is tour de force. The designer for the 21st century! Thank you for sharing this gracious home. From the jib door to the dressing room, every detail is a delight. Edith-Anne has a unique ability to combine the traditional and timeless with the seasonal and trendy. Les Touches wallpaper and fabric seem to be in almost every room, in different colors and used in every conceivable manner. And yet, I had to look to see it - it NEVER jumped out at me. The flow is amazing. She redefines the china cabinet. The cremone bolts with the polished stainless steel. Amazing! If only we all could have china cabinets like hers, . . . and so organized. Bonus: Edith-Anne is not afraid of brown furniture. Those stools at her kitchen island are reminiscent of Frances Elkins classic loop chairs, and reflect her obvious love for The Greenbrier. She generously acknowledges and credits ALL her influences and sources: from Aerin Lauder and Slim Aarons, Scalamandre and Schumacher to HomeGoods. Nothing is too humble for her consideration! Her office - what can I say? Starting with a breezeway bench covered with . . . is that the iconic Beverly Hills Banana Leaf fabric? (and more Les Touches - yeah!) Upstairs, that elevator with the Hunt Slonem wallpaper - such a treat. Those colorful bunnies -- a little definitely goes a long way on style. And what great style! I’ve watched this video several times now. Yet, I’m sure I missed a lot. I know I’ll be watching it many. many more times.
The design of the home was wonderful. I am borrowing some ideas from the rugs, curtains, and wall paper on the ceiling. Beyond the beauty of the home, I loved how gracious Edith Ann was.
This is one home that has everything from cozy to elegance. I love the polished stainless steel pantry’s. The colors make the home so light and airy. This home would brighten anyone’s day.
Deb here. This woman is a one of a kind designer. She knows how to envision details before the house was even built. Her house brings such joy. At every turn there is another item to amaze. Bravo to her.
This home is the a "standard bearer" for mixing all type of styles and in such an exquisite way. BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO! I will watch this video many times to try and captureb the beauty .
This is not my preferred style, but damn this is a gorgeous home! It can be a showcase home it is so beautiful. Lady, you can charge admission I would come see this home. Absolutely amazing!
This house tour was an absolute treat . I’m obsessed with this incredible Designer. She is beyond talented. Every detail in her beautiful home is well thought out and organized with amazing precision and stylish design . Thank you for highlighting this incredible Designer. I hope to see a lot more of her amazing projects featured on your channel. Nadia from South America
Normally I like very neutral colors … sometimes monochromatic neutral. I never like a lot of color. But, I love this house decor color style and the way the patterns are used. Some how it is not overwhelming. Beautiful!!
You’re so right when you said there are endless surprises in that beautiful house. The architectural details, nooks and niches alone, keep surprising, love them. Really beautiful elements all around, you can see a lot of love went into designing this house. Not one corner was neglected or overlooked. And she’s such a lovely, talented person. God bless her, her family (pups too), and her home.
Edith-Anne is my spirit animal. You can tell she took 1 year to plan this home. The attention to detail and her love of color/pattern is incredible. Thank you for sharing your home. I am definitely going to take the skirting bed side table/nightstand idea and use it in my own home.
This is one of my favorite homes that you have toured. I love Edith-Anne's sense of color when so many homes just seem to be nothing but neutral shades of white, grays and blacks. Hurrah for color!
This is one of the best home tours on this channel with the wide angel lens it helps to enjoy this stunning house with amazing details. Love this designer and also thanks to the camera man/ woman for doing a great job
I have to say it is not my style HOWEVER her attention to detail is amazing. Lots of great tips that can be applied to whatever your style is. Love her house, I mean her attention to detail is just out of this world! A true reflection of her. I need to rewatch this video again🥰
Wow!!! This house was just beyond!!! What a feast for the eyes!! But what made it even better was knowing how she romanced the ordinary and incorporated some home goods finds! Amazing, approachable, comfortable, and truly a design masterpiece!!! Please please please go back and tour for Christmas!!! ~Stephanie ❤
The entire home is so gorgeous and livable. Such a pleasure to see. Thank you to Ms Duncan for allowing us such a close up tour - so many great ideas. I'm a Lilly Pulitzer fan too so I really appreciate the stunning papers used and yes I recognized those front doors from a cover. :)
Absolute Perfection! Edith-Anne, you are a Interior Designing Genius! Watching this on Mother's Day was my best gift by far!! I watched it twice over and will watch it many more times as inspiration and because it brings me joy! Your breezeway add-on idea is beyond clever! The outdoor scalloped lanterns, adorable! Great style! Bravo!!
This home is so fresh, fun, elegant and personalized!! And Edith Ann seems to be the perfect combination of artist, decorator, organizer, and lovely hostess, all while being kind and unpretentious. I’m designing my own floor plans, architecture, and design elements so this is so inspiring. Thank you both for sharing this with us!!
Well, as a woman who lives in a NYC apartment with a minimalist decor (my preferred style) all I can say is that this house is absolutely gorgeous with an amazingly creative attention to detail.
I love everything this woman did. She is so talented so inspiring I just love the color palette. She did an incredible job. I cannot say enough. Thank you for sharing this. I’m going to watch it a few more times. Lol
This home is like no other...it took my breathe away. Edith Ann has created the most lovely home.... from the moment she opens the front door you are transported to a world of such beauty and taste. Thank you.
Whoa! This home is breathtaking. It's a Magnificent Achievement. Starting from the entrance door the details will start a conversation immediately. It's so many unique thing's. And its colorful. Calm and inviting. I watched many of these videos. This home is my favorite. She's a phenomenal designer. Thanks for sharing ❤
What amazing talent this lady possesses! So much to love! I particularly love the equestrian touches. The polished steel trimmed cabinets with the exquisite hardware! Beautiful home that just exudes cheerfulness ❤
This woman is amazing. Her home is a tour de force of beauty , form , imagination and function . No detail has been overlooked . Each room is a delight to see and take in. Thank you for this visual banquet ! andthank you to the gracious hostess for sharing her fabulous home and designs 💖
This is my very favorite house you have ever shown! Please, please, please show us more of Edith - Anne’s homes! I need it. My soul needs it! Thank you for The Potted Boxwood! It’s such a unique idea for a RU-vid channel and you do it very well. 💗
Such an honor, and thank you Edith Ann and family, for opening your home - the colors are pure perfection -- the details illuminate each space with both joy and serenity - what an incredible space!!!
WOW. There was so much there and I loved it all. It was just like you said, a lot but soothing at the same time. This one will require a replay for sure. But one thing that stood out for me was the blue framed glass mirror in the foyer. It was stunning. Thanks for giving us these wonderful home tours.
Such a distinct and consistent style! The execution shows a passion and commitment that is contagious. My eyes drank in every bit of this. Thank you Potted Boxwood for panning around for every detail. It warrants future repeat viewings.
Spectacular, I was hoping the tour never ended. The rugs, fabulous!! Thank you for taking the time to walk thoroughly through the home. RU-vid unsubscribed me from this channel. So, happy I went searching today and your channel popped up. Loved the home , thanks.
I have watched hundreds of house tour videos and revamp videos n I have to say I love her style , her creativity, her touch on texture n color!!! She is my favorite of all time
This is truly a designer showcase home indeed, thank you Edith for showing us your styling and extraordinary talent. Your use of patterns is beyond exquisite. You can see all the very fine details and care in every moment of the house. You are a dream in the world of Chinoiserie, China chic, Palm Spring, Hollywood, Indochine. I hope you’ll get lots more commissions after this airing. Great camera work and sound Christine. Love this channel.
Applause! Beautiful custom home! Truly stunning interior and exterior design and decor! Inspired to take initial smaller steps such as the ceiling and lighting treatments. Love the mix of old (inherited) and new collections, and how she intentionally displays and uses to entertain! I definitely will view this tour repeatedly! Thank you for sharing!
So many cool designs here! Even if the formal style isn’t your own there, are so many inspirational and aspirational ideas to glean from this home. What a visual feast! 🤗
Love the rug in the petite salon. Very good taste throughout. I usually am adverse to new builds. Personally I prefer older homes that you rework or add on to with the expertise of an architect to make an old-custom home. Homes with history not just decoration fascinate me.
Christine, I have been thinking of words to describe how beautiful and talented Edith Anne is however.......nothing comes to mind except just amazing!! I loved this tour!
I didn’t think I would love this home as much as I did! Plus she gave us so many tips we can all use! Awnings inside windows, garden bench inside shower, mint julip cups for swabs, and more! Will have to view this many more times! Thank you for your beautiful content!
The attention to detail is phenomenal! Beautiful every step of the way! The cabinetry for the silver and china is extraordinarily unique and brilliant! Who's in for a Master Class from Edith Anne?! Cheers!
My, Edith-Anne's designing skills are outstanding. Her attention to detail is perfectly executed. Blue and white is classic and she made her color palette look stunning. Thank you for sharing her home with us.
Amazing attention to detail. This house is a show stopper. I love the wallpaper...making me think about doing that instead of painting my walls. I also love the monogrammed towels. Would love to see how you decorate it for the holidays.
This home is magnificent!! She did not bore with all the details but hit the high points of interest. I could be on vacation every day in this lovely home. Thank you TPB for this wonderful tour...so enjoyable ~ colors/wallpaper/fabrics are divine.
A feast for the eyes but I can’t imagine living in such a show box, I’d feel like I couldn’t sit anywhere or touch anything. However, the level of detail is mind blowing. I hope this is her forever home since it’s so customized to a certain palette. It’s very beautiful and girly. I love all the outdoor spaces and the lot location….kinda makes me feel like I’m staying at a villa at The Greenbrier!!
