In the upcoming review with Swami Revatikaanta, we will delve into whether religious stories are solely perceived symbolically, conveying profound truths for personal growth without historical evidence, are they universally true, or is there a blend of interpretations?
Swami Revatikaanta will be using the Bhagavad Gita to extract profound understandings from these stories, adopting the Vaishnava thought instead of the Bible, in a manner reminiscent of the approach frequently employed by Jordan Peterson.
Jordan Peterson, is a Canadian psychologist, author, and media commentator. Often characterized as conservative, he identifies as a classic British liberal and a traditionalist.

This is so important! Getting a logical discussion happening without wanting to destroy someone! God, no matter how He is loved, wants compassion and for us all to get along. Great job.

Wtf no clue who that guy is and you are, there's no need to do anything you need to go and learn more, such astupid video, in hinduism all these concepts you're talking about are all falls anyway as advance version of hinduism that is Advaita Vedanta is Toooo deep for any other philosophy also Buddhism is major thing in dharma infact it is Buddhism's version of dharma that is famous, also Buddhism emptiness philosophy and Advaita Vedanta Non Dual philosophy is wayyyyyyyyyyy too deep it's not even comparable actually there's no equivalent of these philosophies in the west and stuff you're talking about is absolutely kidddo stuff just for ignorant people according to Buddhism and Advaita, so when you yourself don't understand whole of dharma whytf you're making stupid videos, also nobody wants to compare keep your Dualistic Hinduism to yourself and that won't represent dharma it's buddhism and Advaita and after these two other Dualistic stuff comes, wtf is your guru teaching about, and also with Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita is also a Advaita Vedanta texts it's too deep for you Dualistic people, idk wtf are your gurus writting as translation that you thing it's comparable to some lower western philosophy tfisthis, also your religious western philosopher nobody cares about them and real philosophers and scientists like Oppenheimer Heisenberg Schrodinger Schopenhauer and many more only cared for Advaita Vedanta Bhagavad Gita and Buddhism not their own lower western philosophy stuff, so wtf are you even talking about? you don't even have enough knowledge about anything and making a stupid video, gotta see who's your guru is and connect to that guy as well for teaching nonsense

I'm extremely grateful for this video and coming across your channel. I love hinduism, but was captivated by Jordan Petersons explanations of the Bible. It changed my outlook on religion. I haven't come across many people articulating hinduism in this manner. It's very neccesary in my opinion, and refreshing to see.

At some point in my life i loved listening to JB a lot, i even posted clips of his on my insta too. but them i slowly realized that all his "deep analysis" is limited to promoting Christianity & making it feel like its exclusive to his faith. So i can't tell you how good i felt when notification to this video came, knowing that someone like you noticed it too. more of this please. jai gurudev Also he is not himself these days. A lot more irritated & agitated all the time. Not at all the guy i started listening to.

@@fleur257 well I get your point but also sanatan dharma is actually different. I'm not saying superior but different. Different from abrahmic religions because It's monotheistic, polytheistic and pantheistic too. Also lot of books with many sects like a tree. Much more to explore.

Thanks Swami. This is great: provides Hindus 'rackets' to bat back and also gives the thoughtful public credible info on Hinduism. I also hope that Indians who call scriptural stories myths will begin to rethink their positions. These scriptural stories continue to be experienced today by walking and talking regular folk.

What i think of JP is that he is a highly intelligent, right wing person. But he is definitely not someone who has any indepth idea of religion, He might not be even Christian, but he do understand importance of religion and for him its a cement binding society, its a geopolitical tool, its an identity. He does not hate Hinduism, he just doesn't understand it. Like any simplistict mind, instead of viewing the natural history of spirituality and human culture through an unbroken timeline, he finds the "flaws" more attractive, which could be said as laziness on his behalf as people expect more from him. He is Abrahamist, talks about common grounds between abrahamic faiths, not because he believes in them, but due to his reasoning he see prosperity and growth in that , he is no historian so I wouldn't blame him for choosing defective premise to base his reasoning on. Any Religion born during politican struggles and wars is not a religion which would unify people, it is merely a geopolitical tool. Taliking about Hinduism, a religion which is born not from one man but from a human civilization through a period of time. Not as a geopolitical tool rather as a guide to follow the truth, to seek self worth, to bring structure to the society. I would be lying if I say geopolitics does not exist within hinduism, but it comes under the wide umbrella, one example was Kautilya. Hinduism has both aspects - spiritual, of connection with God, and geopoloitical/material giving you your identity. its a democracy of spiritual thinking, that is governed by the people, by their culture by, their society according to their time and priority.

The thing is you can never proof or disprove these stories See below PREMISE: Whether the story of Lord Narshima emerginf from the piller is true or not 1. In the scripture that is regarded much higher than the one in which this story is present, there is a clear division of times, and currently we are living in the time where the access to divinity is much less then the time in which the story took place 2. By what metric, by which method, and how are you going to proof that the strength of your faith is the same as the strength of the faith of प्रह्लाद CONCLUSION: you can never proof or disprove these stories Hence, the best way is to dive in to the realm of symbolism and philosophy, extract as much wisdom as possible, apply those wisdom in your life and keep moving forward in your spiritual journey

Jai Gurudev. As smart as he is…he is still human. From what I know, he eats an all meat diet (literally not eating anything but meat/animals) so I think that must influence his mindset, no matter how “well intentioned” he is. He has great advice but must be taken with a grain of salt, I think
