@banandababa yeah what PoloBoyPrince said Atlantic Records was putting off the release date for the album. L.A.S.E.R.S. was supposed to come out in the summer of 2009, believe it or not. But we just got tired of the BS and decided to protest and someone even made a petition about it. It is awesome that we were the ones in control of this. It is our right.

Lupe is easily good enough to be in the discussion because of his social awareness, lyrical talent, flow, and versatility. Besides, he writes better literature than some of the stuff you're forced to read in high school English.
