As much as I hate this episode seeing dany burn the wights always gets me because as a book reader it’s heavily implied that she’s going to do that and that’s what her entire arc has been leading up to. She even dreamed that she was her brother rhaegar burning them in her sleep in the first book.

I'm from way up north in Norway where it's really cold. I've NEVER understood where they got the idea that they could spend so much time north of the wall with noting on their heads. Of all the parts of the body to expose to the cold the head is the stupidest simply because so much of the bodyheat disappears there than from other parts of the body.

I think Arya and Sansa are putting on an act because they know little finger will have spies or little birds watching them and reporting back to him.

Uncle Benjen is always Ex Machina Savior for the Starks (first Bran, then Jon) but it’s never explained how he knows they need help and why he’s out here 😂

Actually Dany reached to grab Jon’s hand first but he waited and fought off wights so all the men could get on Drogon first. He basically fell on his sword for the men. He continued to fight cuz he’s obsessed with killing the Army of Dead. Also, Jon bent the knee cuz he literally saw her sacrifice so much to save them. Jon also sees that Dany is a good person and he honestly thinks she’ll make a good Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Besides, Jon doesn’t care about any of that stuff. He’s all about The Army of the Dead and getting enough people to help The North defeat them.

If these episodes were longer, and if they added three more to the last season for certain character development and to make the apocalypse more pronounced, this would have been a masterpiece.

I don't think it was Jon's fault that the dragon died. None of the characters act like it was... so I believe the other guys were still getting on Drogon while Jon was fighting.

About warging(in the books) George R R Martin said all Ned's kids & jon are wargs ; in (sansa)'s case we never see her warg since lady died early, (Rob) doesn't have pov chapter but it's theorized that warging into his wolf has helped him during battles, his last words were 'greywind' that's why it's also theorized that right before he died he warged & put his consciousness & spirit into his wolf but ofc they killed the wolf too so it's like rob died twice". For (Arya jon bran) warging is the most important aspect of their characters, it's prominent part of their chapters,it helps them throughout the books, for example one time (Arya) during sleeping, unknowingly wargs into nymeria & brings her mom's corps out of river "after red wedding", or when she's blind in bravos w faceless men training she wargs into a cat... & for (jon), a book theory is that right before he died (his last words were ghost like rob's last words were greywind)he warged into ghost, now that he's dead, his consciousness & spirit is in ghost, another tragic theory is that in the 6th book ghost might be sacrificed to bring jon back 😣

Not sure why Joe thinks killing innocent people in Kings Landing is part of her war with Cersei. Dany has dragons. That’s the difference between her and Jon. She can fly Drogon and kill Cersei. That should be her plan.

I know that the entirety of season 7 was spoiled completely about 2 weeks before the season started. Somehow I avoided the spoiler for every single episode except this one. End it hit me kind of hard because when I first heard it. I went ahead and listened to all of it because it sounded so outrageously unlikely. The people in this episode have never spent time together ever, or or if they have it was way back in season one. When it was spoiled for me Gendry still wasn't around, Jorah was a complete mystery in between him leaving Danny and us finding him at the citadel. And daenerys had never even met John. So to hear all of those people are going to Team up and Go worth of The Wall where a dragon effing dies...... I thought it was BS. And I was sad as I watched the episode and realized that it was true. But to give credit where it's due. One of the dragons getting killed never crossed my mind. I don't know why I ever thought of them as completely protected either by the plot or just their bad assery. All the way up until he closes his eyes and sinks under the water I fully expected him to recover. Maybe not right then but I did not expect to see him sink.

Now you may know while Jaquim smiled when he heard " I m Arya Stark and i m leaving now". He knows that she had work to be done.

One of the best episode endings of the series.

Wights can't go in the water, except when they need to attach a bunch of chains to a submerged dead dragon.

Night king would have got the dragon anyway.. jorah was still trying to get settled on the dragon while jon was keeping the few wights away. They still wouldn't have been able to take off in time to fully get away

U need to stop telling my girl Arya Stark to shut up!!. She aint stupid and has every right to be mad at Sansa, since Sansa did take Joffreys side over hers and Neds in s1 more than once. Arya is a human lie detector too btw, thanks to her training & the Game of Faces. Also, to be fair Jon fighting only endangered Drogon really since the other 2 were already in the air flying. Jon is always just selflessly risking his own life because he puts no value on it tbf. Also this whole find a Wight plan was another plan of Tyrions which Jon volunteered to lead since he's desperate to get Dany on board to unite & defend the realms of men.

D&d cut alot of characters & storylines, then they ran out of ideas & dialog, so they had to add unnecessary... Dialogue... scene Also I didn't like the way sansa discredited jon from battle... It's like she means it was just her that won the battle for'em

It never made any sense to me why Sansa sent Brienne away.

I always get disappointed when Jon bends the knee to Dany cuz it wasn't even necessary. She already saw the dead army and the Night King, and agreed that she will help destroy them. Now the north is gonna be pissed at Jon for giving up his crown🤦🏽‍♀

I will always love Tyrion and Arya, but idk wtf the writers were smoking when they wrote them this season. And also, after this episode, we all blame Jon for what happened to Viserion 😅 right?

You guys need to go back and check your self for these past few ep’s every thing Arya said is facts and Sansa was trying to takeover the north
