Yeah, this is sort of "quietly revolutionary" stuff... It's a pretty impressive suite of tools -- especially the fact that the sat-com can send full-motion video. It will be interesting to see what comes of this over the next few years.
Yeah... I'm pretty sure that as you said, "It's not cheap at all." However, even if I never fly one myself, it's good to know what's out there so I can understand what people are talking about across the industry.
I agree -- that would be an approach to doing something like this on the cheap... You're still going to need a BVLOS waiver, either way. Your approach also sounds like the forthcoming Parrot AI...

Likely from overseas where the govt isn't as dumb or 🤷🏼♂️. I should have marked it as watch later but didn't. I usually try to do that, but was less thorough at Xponential this year -- being my first show in 18 months, I had to scrape some rust off and a few things slipped through the cracks in the process.
