I LOVE this clay and all the different ways you can use it! This is a gorgeous bracelet Ms Becky Nunn. I saw another piece that you made with your Crystal Clay - it was a leather cuff that you made out of an old belt, with a big, round bezel attached to it, and you filled the bezel with brown Crystal Clay and then pressed oval turquoise beads into it. It looked great. I loved how the dark brown lines (or occlusions) in the turquoise beads exactly matched the brown of the clay. I'm dying to make that too! 😊 Thank you Becky for this great demonstration, love from Amanda in Australia ❤️

How durable is this? Is the clay related to the steel compound found in automotive or household repair section in hardware stores? Thanks

Dear Jaded, it's really, really durable because it's an epoxy clay. So, when you roll the 2 parts together a chemical reaction occurs (which is why you have to wear protective gloves during that part of the process, although you can take the gloves off once the clay is all mixed together) and the reaction is the same as when you mix Epoxy Resin, which also sets very hard and is extremely durable. So, the epoxy clay will stick to anything, except silicone, once it cures/sets hard. It's a good idea to have a little silicone mat to work on when you're using epoxy clay. Oh, and BTW, the 'Crystal Clay' that Nunn Design produces is just epoxy clay under a different name, so it's no different, it just comes in more colours than a lot of the other epoxy clays on the market. When you buy the Crystal Clay, you get it in a small package with a pair of gloves and a stick to pick up the crystals, or whatever you want to put into the clay. I hope this helps a bit.
