I have run only these and the previous model for 20 years already, the best all round tire on the market. The thread would last legally for maybe 120000 miles, but I have ended up getting new ones every 8 years or so as the rubber starts to get a bit brittle. The recommended use for car tires is max 5 years anyway, these hold much longer. Amazingly quiet on highway also, just as good as the street tires which SUVs come with. Truck: Toyota Land Cruiser/Prado J150.
There expensive but living in New Jersey with our heavy rains and snow i really think my Sequoia deserves a great tire, what psi is best for winter driving,(275/65/18) thanks for the video my man...
in many ways these tires are fantastic, in other ways these tires are overrated. I owned them for years, and i don't think id go back.. These tires are like a really hot girlfriend that is terrible with money. In the end, you are glad it is over.
@@DavidOv54367 Overall, they aren't noisy tires. They were decent in the mud, but that is subjective, as i don't/didn't test alot of different tires in the mud. Decent in snow. They aren't great in wet conditions. I think they are a decent tire, but i wasn't wowed by them.
My KO2s are so far marginally better on wet pavement than my Mastercraft Courser LTR tires of the same size were. And the vehicles Traction Control system seems to be able to reacquire traction after losing it much faster with the KO2s than with the Mastercraft.
Calidad durabilidad fiabilidad full todo terreno es la llanta que uso en mi ram 1500 existen muchas marcas y diseños buenas pero para mi la mejor en el mercado bf goodrich k02❤
B.S. ! Mine latest set had less thread at 27K than your’s. 60 K? I Don’t but it. Sure, I have a bigger diesel truck and go off-road pretty often. BFG 50k warranty is a joke.
Nope, been over 90mph on the free way with no issues. Typically aftermarket wheels and more aggressive tires are a bit more difficult to balance but as far as vibrations or shaking I haven’t had any issues
@@timbear3175 Nice! Have you ever tried Load range C on the K02s? I’m Tryna decide which ones to get, I’m leaning towards C but the E are Cheaper in the size I’m lookin at.
Lots of snow driving. Been thru 8 inches of snow for over 20 mile hauls in January, they perform great compared to all the other tires I’ve had in the past.
Thanks for the review. Looking to put a set on my FJ. I have heard mixed reviews about highway driving in wet torrential rain. What has been your experience in wet weather. I am looking for an AT tire to cover everything from boat ramp grip, highway driving and snow packed roads through Colorado.
Highway they’re fine, maybe a little louder than a regular tire but nothing ridiculous. They ride smooth at high speeds too (75-80mph). As far as wet I’ve never had any issues with slippage, especially in 4x4. I live in the Midwest with a lot of rain and snow every year and they have handled better than any all terrain tire I’ve had in the past (which is a lot). I would trust these tires on a frozen launch pad pulling out a 4,000lb boat… they’re the best A/T I’ve ever seen. Far better than any other brand I’ve had and they last a very long time. I’m over 70k miles now and they still have a solid year of use left in them. they hold up well in muddy trails too, clog up fast like most tires but still do better than all I’ve seen. Hope this helps! Good luck 👍
Weird, I’ve never had any issues with wet or snow. Much better than an all season. As far as balance, yeah they’re ATs so they are gunna lack there compared to anything more street friendly
Overall no. Any All Terrain will be a bit louder than a street or all season, but they don’t hum like a mud tire and I don’t notice them when I’m driving, but I have never compared them to how quiet a street tire would be… Hope that helps you!
Yes, superficial dry rot is really just cosmetic. When it goes deeper it can become a problem. However, I have never seen a tire blow out because of dry rot.
I’ve had good luck with them with heavily wet roads. Now that the tread is getting worn I noticed they slip more but for the first 50-60k miles they’re great in the rain
