3:02: Fun fact: Those two piles were the inspiration of Winner and Loser, two contestants who were introduced during BFB's run. Loser was a contestant in BFB and a member of The Losers in BFB and the Have Nots in Battle for BFB, and Winner was introduced as one of two new contestants in TPOT, along with Price Tag. Also, Loser is the creator's favorite character.
3:03 That's winner and loser's first appearance!!! Not only that, but I think winner's "normally no arms but sometimes shows an arm from the back of their body" thing is also based on this!
The reason Needle doesn't like being called "Needy" is because it means she is a Needy person. She doesn't know it's a nickname. (For anyone who didn't understand it like me lol ❤)
This episode shows a lot of potential about the characters. Ice Cube only wants revenge on her friends, and wants to be friends with her enemies. Coiny is always slapping Firey because he knows the truth that Announcer is helping Firey win. That’s why he always bullies Firey. Needle doesn’t like being called needy because she is needy and she doesn’t want to admit it. Leafy is always so nice because she wants to gain trust from all of the characters so she can win. Teardrop can actually talk, and everyone, except Flower and Spongy, know already. Tennis Ball is a follower, and he follows Golf Ball all the time because he knows what Golf Ball is capable of. Golf Ball is always trying to be a leader because in her childhood, people took charge of her, so she decided to look like a boss. Snowball was bullied in his childhood, so he bullies others. Rocky barfs all the time because his sickness caused his family’s death. All I have for the Squashy Grapes. Maybe Squishy Cherries another episode? btw this is a joke lol so nothing is canon in this
The truth about needle does not being called "needy" According to RU-vid BFDI Mysteries, Needle has never specified why she dislikes being called "Needy", but it's likely because the word needy is defined as "lacking the necessities of life; very poor". When she isn't referred to by her nickname, Needle can be kind, approachable, and supportive towards her friends and teammates. scroll down to see more BFDI Character's Age: Character Birth date Age (in years, months and days) Teardrop August 19, 2002 19 years, 3 months and 12 days (7,215 days / That was: 237 months 1031 weeks 7215 days 173,160 hours 10,389,600 minutes 623,376,000 seconds ) Tennis Ball July 25, 1994 27 years, 9 months, 26 days (8,165 days / That was: 333 months 1452 weeks 10162 days 243,888 hours 14,633,280 minutes 877,996,800 seconds)
Episodes 6 to 12 on Season 1 are the very best era of BFDI. The animation is smooth, the writing is spectacular, my only problem is they're kind of short.
Errors 1:11 : Coiny has three arms. 1:09: Ice Cube's cake has 3 cream, but in the next shot, its cream is one. 3:21 : Eraser has only one leg 6:12 : when pencil holds one jigsaw puzzle, its inclined to the right, when pencil flips it, it stays the same. 2:32 : Needle has no arms and legs, making it limbless 4:28 : Pen's mouth dissapeared. 3:10 : Leafy has one leg like Eraser did in 3:21, the same thing happened to teardrop
I can’t believe this stuff is already ten years old. I know every episode by heart. Like, I opened this one and was like “oh, this is the one where needle gets voted out and it’s the 13 unlucky number joke with all the slapping!”
People:Idk of that of might Guy-am-I:*slap* People:ow stop ugly man boi Sam-I-am:*slap* People:what the heck you dumbest Lexiz*me* and guy-am-I and Sam-I-am:*SLAP* People:ow I’m sorry waaa
Pen:Hey guys, watch this! Eraser:I'm better. Eraser:See?I can do three! Bubble,Pencil and Match:Cool or Crazy! Golf Ball:I'm spinning seven. Snowball:You think anyone cares? Eraser:How about you,Needy? Needle:Don't call me Needy! In the intro
0:44 Needy... (Slap) Needle has no limbs 0:58 Needle magnet ex-machina 1:08 Announcer made spoilers of who was going to get eliminated 3:01 That's exactly how you spell "anyway" 3:18 Coiny's eyes... 4:14 Puzzle pieces ex-machina 5:35 Where's Match other arm? 5:39 When Pencil doesn't have her limbs, she looks horrible 6:25 So Pen is the smartest one from the team
I remember way back then stumbling upon this video on RU-vid Kids, decided to not watch it, but didn’t know I was looking at a thumbnail of a masterpiece.
0:02 I'm afraid to ask where did they get these basketballs from? 0:08 I heard someone say the word "lame". Who was that? 0:09 GB is a cheater. Pen rotated on his hand, Eraser on his finger, and she on her foot. I know it won't work any other way for her, but the surface area of the foot is more than the surface area of the hand. 0:10 I agree with Snowball. No one cares about these "show-offs"... at least, this won`t cause any positive emotions for them. 0:15 I understand that the authors will use this joke until absolutely all the characters call Needle "needy" at least once. 0:16 ...was this joke so good that it could be played again in slow-mo? I also love how Kevin McLeod's music continues to play at normal speed during slow-mo. They able to reverse music, but they can’t slow it down. 0:17 ...was this joke so good that it could be played again again in more slow-mo? 0:19 ...was this joke so good that it could be played again again again in even more slow-mo? 0:20 Too bad they didn't show us the scene where the word "needy" is used in even even more slow-mo, zooming the camera on one of the teeth... preferably without cavities... and the sound of a slap in ultra slow-mo sounds pretty epic. 0:21 I like how the sound returns to the original speed gradually. Such small details don`t really affect anything, but they show the efforts of the authors. 0:34 I see Announcer really likes to fall on Bubble... did he like the feeling of getting wet on the bottom of his body? 0:45 Oh, what a lucky landing! Apparently, that's why he called the Needle "needy"... or is he just trolling her in this way? 0:50 Key lime pie again? Aren't cakes supposed to... I don't know... not repeat? Or it`s just lack of imagination? 0:51 Half a cake per contestant? Will they get fat after such a generous treat? 0:58 Where did Announcer get such a big magnet? And could it be the cause of Needle's strange flight path at the start of Episode 5? 1:08 Oh, there's even signed nicknames of each of the voters? Not bad, not bad... however, it seems to me that at the end of these votes there will be so many that it is unlikely that everyone will be able to sign... by the way, note that among these orbs with voters, five of them are marked in light orange, and the other twelve are in light grey. Does this mean that Needle, as I assumed earlier, will fly out of the game EVEN with the used token (because 12/2 = 6 > 5)? If so, why they spoil the outcome of the elimination, which should be responsible for the main intrigue here? 1:14 What makes him think that this silence was awkward? Maybe Announcer is trying to keep the intrigue? 1:18 ...yeah? I didn't even notice... thank you very much. 1:30 Silence isn`t a sound. Silence is golden... just like Coiny... 1:41 OH GOD! ANNOUNCER IS ANGRY! 1:42 2000 IQ Moment! Well, that explains why he called her "needy"... he was just setting up a test so he could do dirt with her hands. Smart devil. I also like how Needle just slides off-screen without a single foot animation. 1:47 There is no reaction on Needle's face to the fact that she flew into the toilet due to her conditioned reflexes. 1:58 ...yeah? I didn't notice... thank you very much... again. 2:02 Oh, so they'll even show us all slap scenes... I found out this after I rewatched past episodes to count the number of Needle slaps... 2:32 Shouldn't it be better to ask another question? For example, why did she not react in any way to the fact that she spanked the wrong person, although we were told directly in the first episode that she had some feelings for him. What prevented her from even showing her shock when she realized that? Or are the authors trying to clear all the hints of pairings from the series in this way in case the shippers suddenly break into the holiday? 2:36 Yes, I agree with Announcer, it's not interesting. 2:37 What is that yellow thing sticking out of the TLC? 2:42 Are you sure that that little space is big enough for the rest of eliminated contestants to escape? 2:46 What's the sloppy word "illiterate" doing here? 2:47 Oh, the writing that just wasn't there... why is Pencil telling Announcer about this? Shouldn't it be the other way around? 2:49 Sounds reasonable... only here he's been sitting there since the third episode, but for some reason he himself didn't stick out of the TLC. 2:54 So where is he going to put the remaining 14 contestants? In another iron box that's the same as this one, but bigger? 3:03 An interesting way to show how a contestant from the losing team is taken by the winning team. 3:10 Oh wow! What a smooth animation! 3:15 In such a situation, the transitional scene where everyone enters the building is wildly missing. Seriously, this scene really looks very fast, because of which you can get a little lost in a series of events... however, given the then age of the authors of the series, it’s good that they don’t have such jambs all the time. 3:18 What's up with Coiny`s eyes? 3:21 Objects can die of starvation... and this is what Bubble says, which clearly will not live to such a condition... 3:25 Yeah, more ads! 3:31 What a design! And what a play of colors! This item is definitely worth buying! 3:37 ...and they burst at the slightest touch, but I won't blame him for that... this dude still needs to push the goods. 3:40 ...because they died BEFORE they said it? 3:46 ...predictable. 3:57 This was probably the most honest ad I've ever seen in my life. 4:04 Is he talking about the door that he most likely locked? 4:09 Looks like we have Needle 2.0. 4:12 We need to at least something to replace the gag about "Don`t call me Needy", right? 4:15 Yeah, and the image on these puzzles definitely doesn`t resemble team logos... that`s definitely not suspicious at all. 4:20 Why am I not surprised? 4:33 Given the complexity of the original image, splitting the image into more chunks would be weird, frankly. 4:35 Have they tried flipping puzzles? 4:40 At 4:12 it was clearly visible that there were at least 3 pieces lying face up? Or did Announcer turn them over behind the scenes so Grapes can win? 4:42 I can make her happy... her gut really doesn't deceive... when Bubble and Sturtych learned to teleport, by the way? 4:51 Oh, already? Okay... 5:8 then... in the favor of Squashy Grapes. 4:52 Did Rocky just puke at your feet? And why does his vomit have a different texture now? 4:53 Where did he just fall from? Does the building have a ceiling? Or was there a balcony specifically for him? 4:55 No, well, it would be weird if everything was so easy... 5:13 ...why her? Why not Bubble? Ice Cube was supposedly friends with her in the first episode, wasn`t she? 5:15 Why is the vomit now lined up in the shape of Firey? Rocky forgot how to speak? And why are Leaf's hands shaking so much and she smiles wider than the others? The rest answer quite calmly, but she went straight into ecstasy, as if she and Firey had something... perhaps love... perhaps platonic... or not... 5:16 I'm afraid he misunderstood them. 5:19, 5:22 Disrespectful treatment of Announcer. 5:26 ...actually, he's on Coiny's team, not Coiny on his team... but what's the demand from a dumb? 5:35, 5:42 Flashbacks. 6:06 Oh wow, they got it! 6:20 Well, it would be strange if eighth episode was released ahead of schedule due to the lack of voting. 6:24 Post-credits scene without credits? They could at least stick a black screen or something like that... 6:25 Yeah, and they spent a whole day on this... I guess because the building is now dark for some reason.
Being needy means that you need something, whether you're too attached to someone that you constantly need them around you or you're just really poor and are in need of money.
fun fact: there's a deleted scene from storyboard video showing that two contestants: Woody and Blocky rejoin the games and into either teams because they made the TLC accidently smaller.
@@winterboi2902 Season 4 already ended, and Season 5 is in development. The seasons, in order, are BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, BFB, and TPOT. This is not counting the mini seasons, shorts, and whatever other BFDI content there is.
When you realize you start watching this for the first time and realizing is 13 years old, I’ve watched all these episodes so many times they’re still entertaining😂😂😂
