BFME2 VS RotWK | Which game is better!? 

With patches it can kind of change, but Witchking will always have Angmar faction and more units/heroes so it's an automatic win for me

i played only singleplayer and honestly the war of the ring in BFME2 is almost unplayable... all the changes on RotWK made it so much more enjoyable that makes it a clear winner for me . by the way, i've never seen or heard any comment about war of the ring. All other content (MP, campaigns, 1 v 7 AI skirmish) is mentioned but not WotR, is there a reason? community actually dislikes it?

back in the days, RotWK had the most awful AI of any game ive ever played. it would always go straight for your Citadel and ignore everything else

I like the fact that that base bfmeii 1.09v2 has more asymmetry. Isengard and MotW are well-rounded factions, but ones like Goblins, Dwarves, Elves and Mordor all have very unique strengths, weaknesses and playstyles vs the other factions. In RotWK a lot of faction weaknesses are filled in by unit changes & additions. Factions with weak eco buildings like Elves and Goblins don't have that problem in RotWK. Factions with no cav like Mordor have cav. Factions that don't have T1 pikes or strong swordsmen like goblins get both. Isengard gets a serious buff with the addition of highly economical and fast raiding wildmen. Idk if Elves needed mounted horse archers but they are really cool. Dwarves get an archer hero! :D So I think RotWK is better for a higher skill cap. But Bfmeii's asymmetry is just really fun in general, especially for players around intermediate level

Also, the ROTWK adds half-troll swordsmen units to the goblin faction. Not incredibly powerful, but they are cool looking.

In terms of gameplay and improved singleplayer RotWK is definitely better. But BFME2 1.09 looks absolutely stunning.

A complete showcase of how every faction differs between the games would be amazing!

Rise of the Witch King for me because the buildings are a little tougher. In bfme 2 buildings are made of paper 📃 they go down in millie seconds. The only buff Angmar gets is War Chant but they have a lot of debuffs. Bfme 2 and rowtk had no balance for example Men and Mordor were very weak Dwarves am Elves on the hands were quite strong the key to victory in these games is keep attacking and keep your buildings intact because losing farms 🚜 or resource buildings is a huge problems not only for economy but you lose command points

Started playing bfme2 patchless on my xbox 360 today and loving it. Even if it is 20 fps and I can't zoom out more than 10 ft

Mordor is my favorite faction in BFME2 base game, i like that they added Grond in 1.09, way stronger ring heroes and black rider heroes.

Which one is played more competitively? Or are both played equally? For me, I play rotwk mostly. But occasionally I miss having the individual nazgul heroes in bfme2 so I go play that game :)

Wrath of witch king all the way. Its the same game but has mote units, heroes and a extra faction. Why would you play Bfme2 instead ? XD

Bfme 2 players more strong than Rotwk players.. Rotwk farm healts looks Like bfme2 fortress.. thats why Rotwk players have slow hands bfme 2 players so much agrassive

Thing I hate most about ROTWK at least in the vanilla form for single player is Angmar is a glass cannon and most of the units suck cause you can't upgrade them and the good ones cost a fortune to upgrade and are small in number. Meanwhile Arnor cheats like a MOFO and they get massive numbers in their units.

I didn't understand the leadership system in the video at all. The bfme 2 is like a chaos for me right now

Is there any place where I can read in more detail about these systems that are different in both games? Like how leadership and buffs work, etc?

BfME2 >>> Rotwk. Imo the Angmar faction doesn't fit in very well

to my opinion bfme 2 rotwk is unbalanced and have op and undefeatable ai at 2v1 or 3v1
